In the past year, the economy has gotten worse as each day passed by. This recession stage is financially killing plenty of business around the world. There was recent discussion of David Stern trying to organizing a bailout for teams that need the funds.

Today, it was reported that the Indiana Pacers were looking at a loss of $30 Million this season.

One important statement I found from the article was:

He (CIB member Pat Early) said if the Pacers don't get some sort of financial relief, the team could move, be sold or the NBA could step in as "they're not fond of under performing franchises."

My question is how has the economy affected your team this season?
If the economy doesn't pull out of this recession, how will this affect the signing of players during the offseason ?
