I'm getting tired of all these touch fouls and dumb calls. The NBA needs to toughen up. Me and my friends play with harder fouls than that. I'm not saying someone needs to get injured before they call a foul, but seriously, these 200-265 pound players can play harder basketball.

I also hate when a player is driving it in and FORCES contact with the other player and the refs call a foul. That is total BS to me. Thoughts?

The worst part is the flopping. It's so annoying that guys just fall down and get calls.

Yeah. Too many ticky tack fouls.

It's led to a weird thing. In most sports, being on defense = playing hard, playing physical, playing a bit rough. Defense in basketball is kind of soft. To be good at it, you kind of have to play like a *****. It's weird.

i thought it got soft a long time ago... any time a player gets tapped, they yell and hit the deck

not soft, but softer than it used to be. only true power player left is shaq; mabe d howard will get there. btu bigmen used to be dominant with power, now they can use speed. there also aren't many players left to just go in to push people around and be aggresive, like charles oakley or big ben.

Yeah, it's soft. They need to reverse some of the rule changes they've made. While flashy offense may be nice sometimes, I think letting teams play a more physical brand of defense would be good for the game. Though I understand why they haven't done so, and most likely won't do so.

Frrrrank!!!

The main thing that annoys me is when little guys throw themselves into players and get calls. That should be an offensive foul! Not a foul on the player who stood there with his hands up.

The NBA is a pansy fairy league nowadays.

I think it was alot more entertaining back in the 80's and 90's.
