Who has emerged this year as the games top flopper? The flopping thing has really taken on a new level. Established floppers like Manu, Varejao, Nocioni, Okur and Vujacic got some competition. Even non-international players have gotten the hang of it. Baron Davis, Chris Paul, Amundson...even Shaq of all people.

The winner of this poll becomes my new signature next season. Will Manu finally be dethroned?

Who CP doesn't flop anymore, but he is on that list and Devin Harris isn't? Whenever Harris drives to the rim once he feel a little contact he just explodes!!

Whoa A Little update CP got 2 Votes WTF

Why are you obsessed with this?

Anyway, Vujacic and Pau Gasol aren't floppers... Fisher is more of a flopper than they are.

I've gotta go with Shaqdiesel.

LOL...that was funny.

I've seen Amundson flop several times. He really likes to flop during rebound battles...even when he is out of contention for the rebounding he jumps into his man falling down in the process.

Loose ball foul...lol.

You kiddin? No player...not even Manu spends as much time on his back than Gasol. He is a great charge taker...but he tends to fall down prematurely.

The Shaq flop was controversial because he usually doesn't flop...so your pick is sorta biased IMO.

Even though I would love to see Manu go for the three peat. My vote has to go to Shane Battier. He has master the art and brought flopping to a new level.

Varejao averages thats a game.

Your post got me thinking...do you believe should flops be registered in the stat sheet? Or do you believe they should naturally be registered as turnovers.

Maybe they should it would make players like Varejao think about flopping because the refs could look at there stats and see. But how would you judge one because you could be just falling over.

LOL Jay u never commented on why cp is up there and DHarris isnt...

I guess it was just beyond my notice. i did however notice this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TaRdBpxfrw

I guess my judgement on floppers is different...I never really noticed Battier flopping either, but since a Jazz fan pointed it out I guess some things escaped me.

But since my favorite player to watch in the NBA also happens to be a reputed flop artist, I think I am pretty keen on who flops and who doesn't.

Give me a good example of a Harris flop and I will be a believer.

Vujacic. every time he gets breathed on, he acts like he was shot out of a cannon

what are we looking for? Player who flops the most or most obvious flop? Because in the second case, Shaq could win it IMO :)

I think the most number of flops last year went to Derek Fisher.

But seriously, either Varejao, Pierce or Vujacic should get this award.

Shaquille O'neal is the leading candidate. He's just to big to realistically knock over. One of the reasons Vlade looked so fake is because he too was too big to realistically knock over.

I have to go with varejao, easily. While there are a lot of guys who try to take charges and flop, Varejao doesn't even sell it to that point, pretty much on contact he's flailing like a ******** child to get a call, it's unreal. Either he is the weakest big man in the history of people, or he has just absolutely the worst balance of anybody, ever. Or the more logicl choice, hes the biggest flopper in the NBA.

if youd watch him consistently, youd see he gets set, doesnt move, and then gets knocked down. hes mastered taking a charge, that doesnt mean he flops

How can you even say that. You're a Jazz fan. The Jazz are the masters of flopping. I'll admit that Battier flops sometimes but he does not flop anywhere close to the amount of time that anyone on the Jazz does.
