In the nba they have a trend for superhero names for example:
Shaq and dwight: superman
Wade: flash
Nate robinson: krypto-nate

Can anyone think of another superhero name for a nba player like:
Steve nash: Mr. Fantastic

Kobe's black mamba...not a super hero but damn sure sound like a villain. And Kryptonite is not a hero nor villain it's an object but when you form Kryptonate it should be a villain...I would also say Yao is that big blue looking guy from the watchmen not sure what his name is but he's big and slow...Brandon Roy would be Batman because Roy is not outstandingly quick nor is he outlandishly athletic but he has great use of his game...

If Dwight Howard wasn't Super Man I would say he was Colossus from X-Men because he's built like him. And if Wade wasn't Flash he would be Goku from Dragon Ball Z because he has the ability to go Super Saiyan when he gets mad...

Chris Paul is Spider-man for his court awareness and speed and agility.

AI his intensity and ability to take alot of punishment, yet having a clouded justment despite his talents. Often he is feared and misunderstood, like the mutant Wolverine.

Garnett likes to play a bully...The Punisher.

I'd say your Chris Paul comparison is spot on ...But I'm not sure of the other 2...

Lebron James is Ironman.

While I like both comparisons I'd like to add that Lebron's characteristics are those of the Juggernaut--He's big and he's hard to stop once he has a full head of steam (momentum)...

I think Howard is more Superman than Shaq. Shaq is more of an Incredible Hulk type guy.

Ray Allen - bullseye ( deadly from long range)
Chris paul - spider man ( great senses, agility, and quickness)
Lebron James - Juggernaut ( Unstoppable when he picks up that open court momentum)
Kobe Bryant - human torch ( Can get on fire anytime he wants to and can burn through any defense)
Yao Ming - Mr Fantastic ( His length makes it look as if he really can stretch)
Tim duncan - Batman ( Doesnt have any flashy powers but is still one of the best)

Rip is Cyclops.

Tayshaun Prince is Mr. Fantastic. Probably the longest arms relative to the rest of his body in the NBA.

Derrick Rose is the new Flash. No one can stay in front of him.

Lebron is the Juggernaught. Once he starts moving, it's impossible to stop him.

Dwight is Superman. Superstrong and superquick.

Shaq is the Hulk. Off the court, he's the Big Aristotle aka Bruce Banner. On the court, he's the Incredible Hulk. Also, can you imagine the Hulk trying to shoot a freethrow? Probably looks a lot like Shaq does, and would likely net the same results.

Kobe is Batman. He's not the quickest guy, not the strongest guy, not the best leaper... but he's the best because he knows how to take everyone else in the league down.

KG is the Joker. Picks on smaller players, and now that he's on the Celtics, natural enemy to Kobe (Batman).

Wade is Daredevil. Makes probably some of the most acrobatic shots in the NBA.

Allen Iverson is Wolverine. Short in stature, but fierce as hell.

Tim Duncan is Captain America. One of the best superheroes ever, but incredibly boring.

Chris Paul is Spiderman and Deron Williams is Venom. Two very alike, but since CP3 is smaller and better (no offense to Utah fans), he should take the role of Spiderman.
