A near dead on tie with Williams and Roy...I think Williams and Roy are counterparts in their respective floor positions...both tough, skilled, unselfish, smart, clutch without being all that athletic or flashy.

I think Rose will be special and I am by no stretch of the imagine a Bull's fan. You can't go wrong with D Will or B Roy either. I like Rose's athleticism and he doesn't have anyone remotely close to a Carlos Boozer, or a Milsap for that matter. His future is bright.

for the list. Gotta go Williams. Great PG are hard to come by and he's already established he's great.

I voted Derrick Rose, the guy has unlimited potential !

Easily Deron Williams, he's the definetly in the discussion for who the best PG in the leauge, and has the whole package. Size, strength, shooting, passing. He's often overlooked, but he's a phenomenal player.

I don't know who I'd take second, it's pretty much a toss up between Bosh, Roy and Melo from there. Only reason I'd not take Melo or Roy first I guess is because it's easier to find yourself a higher role playing wing than it is to find that same level of player at PG.

As good as Rose is, I haven't seen enough of him to really know. He's talented for sure, but with any young player, I'd just like to see how he progresses before I make any judgements on him.

I think D.Rose is almost a clone of Deron on the basketball court. Both have size, athleticism, passing, but the only thing Rose has to work on is extending his shot to the 3 point line. Rose is actually more athletic than Williams also IMO, and if you have watched him you would agree with me.

For the question, us Bulls fans hope Rose is in the equation with Paul and Williams for best PG in the league in 2 years, and he probably will be barring any major injuries. So I went with Rose, but it could very easily be Williams. As he has learned his teammates, his assists have gone up every month. He went from averaging 19/5/5 in Novemeber to averaging 17/6.5/4 right now. He has showed us that he can take over a game (scoring 16 in 4th vs. Rockets to win game), and he can get his teammates going most of the time.

I think they also should have put Russell Westbrook in this question also because that kid in really talented. I think he is right behind Rose for ROY.

i voted roy...kid and just clearly run a team

A better question: How the hell does Bosh only have one vote at this point? You need a big man for building championship teams and Bosh is the only big man up here - and one of the best young big men in the league at that...

I voted Roy personally, but it's a split between those two for me.

I went with Brandon Roy. To me, it was a tough decision between Williams and Roy. Roy seems like he's a better leader and he seems to be a clutch player. Williams is purely a PG and building a team around him is pretty hard and heavily reliant on a PG's health (think Utah or NO without CP3 or Deron). If I built a team around Roy, the team would probably be more independent from Roy should he go down with an injury.

I think Deron is the better player, I'd just rather build around a SG than a PG.

Deron Williams could run any team's offense. Derrick Rose hasn't proven he's better than Williams yet. Roy can't run the offense like Williams. Therefore, the obvious answer is Williams.

I agree with everything you say. And Rose definetly has the talent and potential to be a superstar. It's just that at this point, it's a no brainer to go with the guy who already is, no?

Disagree completely for Roy. He is very athletic. He only plays as hard as he needs to and doesn't fully show his athleticism. He has a 40' vertical to, very quick dribbler as well. I would choose Roy.

w/o a doubt Derrick Rose. hello, hes avging nearly the same stats as D-Will in his ROOKIE YEAR. B-Roy is good, but for sum reason, i'd rather build-around D-Rose.

I think it's a tie between Roy and Williams, but since I might be slightly influenced being a blazer fan. I'll try to un-bias and pick D-Will ;)

Williams (true passing point guard, hard to find in todays game) or melo (Versatile player, hasnt missed the playoffs yet) they can both carry a team and are clutch so its tie for me....

argument that you need a big man for bosh (hes not that big, hasnt made the playoffs apart from last year)

D-rose - too young but has major potential to be great. interesting to see what happens with his career

Brandon Roy - versatile performer, but has a very talented team around him (prob be my second or third choice

you dont watch enough nuggets games. he's not the jack up twenty shots on the offensive side and think about where i'm gonna take the next shot from on the defensive side anymore. his rebounding is up, assists are up, turnovers are down. he is a better all around player, capable of guarding the best perimeter guy the other team has. you couldn't have said that a year ago when it was the melo a.i show. its tough he was in the class with lebron and d wade and all those studs. the second best SF in the game.

LOL is this aimed at me?
Im not saying he isn't an efficient scorer but I'd rather a PG that can score and pass and lead a team, but thats just me.
