This looks like a really good game, the thing that stands out to me is the 3 point shooting ability of the Jazz, at first I viewed it as a good thing, but looking closely it seems like the home court Blazers may have the advantage. If you like by the 3, you die by the 3, and in the end I think the Blazers let by Roy & Bosh take the series.

The Jazz are a versatile offensive team, but the Blazers, even with the weakness at PG, can get playmaking from Roy to a very strong frontcourt in Oden-Bosh. They also have two contributors off the bench in Haslem and Moon that can help pick up the slack from the lack of PG production.

Blazers in 7. Homecourt makes the difference.

the only good players on the blazer squad is roy and bosh. oden still hasnt impressed me. deron will school bayless until he dies. roy will score at will on redd but redd will also get his points from passes by deron.. turkoglu is still underated and webster sucks. bosh is a beast but doesnt play D so millsap will still get around 15 points. oden cant defend okur on the outside so bosh might defend okur and oden on millsap but still jazz win

I still think the blazers are a year or two away, strong series, but Oden and bayless need to get thier feet wet beore they beat a deep experienced Jazz team coached by one of the all time greats.

Blazers will win a few rings in a few years, this serves as a learning experience.

One mopre Vetrean Role player would of went a long way for the Blazers.

no writeup by either team?
anyway i like jazz in this. they win at PG SF and Center. blazers are too young and dont have a starter over 24. the jazz have tons of scoring options

Good to se the Jazz pulling closer.

Ill take portland, utah front court doesnt really impress all that much and the inside out combo of bosh and b.roy will be to much for an average deffensive team like utah to handle.

Unbelievably hard call but Blazers because I love Roy and if he can be this successful with Aldridge, then with Bosh you gotta give him at least one playoff series.

Super.

the down low presence of bosh and oden + roy up top tops it, blazers in 6

Jazz but it was very close, I just think Deron Williams would obliterate Jerryd Bayless.

I went with the Jazz because of two rookies starting for the blazers. that hurts.

Deron would just murder Bayless. And like Keg said...two rookies starting.

Jazz win this.

with Redd guarding Roy, Roy goes for atleast 30 a night. Redd cant defend for ****.

Just to clarify, I said that it would close at 9, and the Blazers had more votes, 2 votes were too late

Definately. Plus, Millsap and Okur are protecting the paint? I know Millsap's scrappy and putting up nice numbers this year but can he really block shots or lock down near the basket?

same can be said for bosh, who is a poor defender, and what kind of impact will oden have, especially against a non convential center like Okur who will draw him out. The blazer front line is just as suspect as the jazz.

And with Bayless guarding Deron, Deron gets 30 and 12 every night.
