Quite sad to see him leave the game. I'm glad he didn't go to the Celtics like he considered last year.

He was one of my favorites as little kid, one of the few non-Wizards jerseys I have. Go Reggie!

One of the greatest of all time. Definitely the greatest shooter ever.

Real classic of Larry Brown to call that time out and applaud.

...i guess it is a sad and revealing moment of a career to retire without a ring. At least he wasn't carried off the court on a stretcher like Barkley was in his final game.

It's funny because as soon as I saw the thread title I thought of Robbert Horry too. Only it was the 3 against the kings. But even in this vid I got goose bumps when he hit that last 3.

It's funny cause I stumbled upon Reggie's retirement vid a couple of days ago on YouTube as well. Was watching that game live back in the day and got shivers as well when I saw all the Pistons congratulating him and all the Indy fans yelling like lunatics. Awesome career, great guy as well.

The best shooter to ever play the game and how just shows what a classy guy Larry Brown is by taking that time-out. But yea how about retiring without a ring...

It was only a few years ago. By the thread title I thought it was something that happened 10 years ago or something.

Beforethe Raptors my Dad was a big Knicks fan. It's safe to say that he wasn't too fond of Reggie but still had a huge amount of respect for him.

Reggie was one of my favourites when I was a little kid.

Why was he taken out of his last game? Why not have him finish the game and then have some kind of ceremony/ovation, etc. It's not like they were trying to stage a comeback or anything.

That was what I liked most. That was a real classy thing to do. He realized the moment, and though he didn't have to, he knew it was the right thing to do to honor one of the games greats.

I still hate reggie miller though.

At least he didn't leave the Pacers to get a ring with a team stacked of superstars, that is who he is and who he will always be. And this was a sad day for knicks fans and why I am a fan of Reggie Miller.

That right there is one of the greatest performances ever, by any player. Not only was he trash talking to Spike after every shot he made, he was shooting 3s 6 feet behind the arc. Does anyone know how many feild goals Raggie made, and how many he took in the 4th quarter, that would be a great stat to find out.

Reggie was worth the research...

Remember, they were down by 12 at the end of 3 and he scored 25 in the 4th quarter including 5 threes.
