He describes him as a "bad boy" and that he's one of the premier basketball players in the league. He says he has high IQ and that he's ahead of his time.

Rightly so. Roy could easily be the MVP of the league for years to come. He really matured his game fast and has proven to already be a star in his second year

I love Roy. He's just absolutely so calm out there. Never out of control, just smooth and calm.

I would take Roy as my 2nd clutch player behind Melo.

Roy is one of the most fundamentally sound players in the league.

I would love to have Roy on the Bulls. Unfortunately we had BG who was coming off a great season off the bench so we passed on em. He's by far one of my favorite players.

Roy is a great player and knows how to get it done in the clutch

Roy just makes everyone on the court play his kind of tempo, kind of like how Ray Allen does it. Brandon takes over a game when necessary and just lets the game come to him. I can't wait to see the rest of his career unfold.

He's so efficient out there. And he doesn't have a very big ego either...

Roy is an absolute stud. His defense is a bit iffy to label him a "superstar" just yet, but if he works on it, he can be a top 5 player in this league.

well lets not go that far man, thats absurd. what player has just owned the MVP for years? Jordan, wilt, players like that. Roy is no where near that calibur at this point of his career. ease off the throttle a bit. lets have him win ONE MVP first.

He's doing good, team is decent. I mean if I had four years worth of first round picks, I'd be pretty good too.

People on this website need to start realizing other talent. Roy isn't undervalued or underrated. He also hasn't done anything that can justify him being great. He made the all star team twice, why make a thread that changes from Kobe talking about him to a thread about how great he is.

Make a thread about how great the Spurs organization is.

Roy is amazing for his age, mature especially.

He never loses his cool, any team should be proud to have him as their franchise player.

Hell he wont win one... he is good but he won't be the sole leader of that team.

I don't think he will, either. He's great, but his competition for that award is gonna be way too fierce.

If you had 4 years of good 1st round picks you'd be good too?

Somebody should tell that to the:

Clippers
Timberwolves
Warriors
Wizards
Grizzlies
Bulls
Bucks

As you can see, maybe it's not JUST the fact that they had good picks those years...

The reason everyone thinks Roy is so good is his maturity and team production. His teams have gone from 32 to 41 to (currently) a 37-22 record.

Every year he AND HIS TEAM improve. He is the unquestioned leader of the team.

Kobe knows what he's talking about...

I think he has a very good chance of becoming an MVP in the future. He is the best player on the Blazers and most likely will b for years to come. Portland has one of the brightest futures in the NBA. One of these years he will most likely b a respected veteran, who's team has one of the best records in the league,(if not THE best) and he would then have a great chance to win an MVP award. Y is that so hard to imagine for alot of people?
