what do you guys think. i personally think he is. arguably the best defensive player this decade, and lead a team to the finals.

Absolutely not. His career was a short blip of good defense. Thats it. Definetly not hall of fame worthy. Next you're going to tell me Derrick Coleman is hall of fame worthy.

If he continued the type of stats he had with the bulls and cavs for atleast 2-3 seasons and one or two more rings then YES

no way. he had a few good years in detroit but hasnt really done anything since. if marcus camby won 1 ring he would have a better chance than big ben. hall of famers should be great defenders and on offense too

even tough his points may not show much this guy lead an elite team for many years to the ECF, and played the best defensive in the league. between 2001-2006 he averaged about 13.5 boards, and 2.7 blocks.

imo his stats dont really matter. but the fact of his team being elite for so many years anchored around him.

NO he hasnt done anything good enough for a consistent period of time. He only had a good 3 to 4 year run. But he gets major respect for being undrafted, winning multiple defensive player of the year awards, and then finally a championship ring...

He's the embodiment of hard work and a inspiration to those with far fetched dreams but not a hall of fame candidate

Did you mean Rusty Wallace? If so yes he sure Hall of Fammer...he has done a lot for Nascar. You counld mean Ben Wallace, last i checked 6 points a game for your career didnt get you into the hall. I he plays another two years like this his rebounds will fall below 10 for his career too.

NO WAY, the best defensive forward this decade is Tim Duncan, and he never "lead" the team to finals he was always a piece of the puzzle in Detoit it was Billups, Hamilton, AND the other Wallace. With Cleveland it would be with Lebron. Ben Wallace can't even carry Duncan's water.

He won't. Nobody really understands his style. Nobody really respects defense. If He put up the numbers he did with the pistons for a few more years then he might have.
