Baron Davis (http://www.basketball-reference.com/fc/pgl.cgi?player=davisba01&year=2009)

It took 44 games, but Baron Davis finally did it. He shot over 50% in a game this year.

He shot 50% in a few games, but until the last game he hadn't shot over 50% in a game.

was I the only one expecting the Clippers to be good at the beginning of the season?

I really thought they would be an above .500 team.

Guess they proved me wrong.

I thought they'd at least be above .500

Wow lol. That is crazy but I guess this is the early sign of a declining injury-prone superstar...I was hoping that the trade with Dallas would have gone through.

I also thought they would be a .500+ team. But they just had too many injuries.

He hasn't played close to all 44 games if I'm not mistaken. If he were healthy it probably woulda happend a while ago.
Then when he is playing, and the rest of the team is injured, he'll get more defensive attention drawn to him making it more difficult to make shots.

I thought they'd be a tough team. Then when they signed "8 year old face" Randolph, I thought they'd start moving up. But injuries are part of the game.

If they are healthy next year, with Gordon and Thornton getting valuable minutes, they could be a darkhorse to make some noise in the west.

First of all, we all know what he's capable of. Secondly, the dude wants out of the Clippers. His only motivation is the mere the chance that someone, perhaps a contender, will want to pick him up. He's not motivated at all by the Clippers' roster.

anyone think he'll demand a trade or something? is he even in the position to demand a trade?

anyone think he'll demand a trade or something? is he even in the position to demand a trade? He obviously is not happy there, and they tried to trade him and Chris Kaman for Jason Kidd, but it just didn't happen.

Guess they proved me wrong.I thought they would be good during the 24 hours between the time Baron signed and Brand bailed.

I thought you were going to say something like first double-double or first game over 30 points. 50% shooting is kind of an odd stat for a PG, right? I mean, I know CP3 does it often and D-Will gets it quite a bit. But I don't expect it from most PGs.

Thats what happens when coaches don't adapt to their superstar players

The Clippers have a tendency to dissapoint...
