If you could inherit any NBA franchise tomorrow, which one would it be, and why?

Call me crazy, but I would love to get the OKC Thunder. They have great fans, an incredible amount of young talents to be developed or traded away, and, KD35 who is on his way to being a STUD in this league.

Thoughts?

EDIT: Ignore current financial problems

I have to agree on the women in Miami. No better combo than Boricuas and Cubanas :D

The Knickerbockers. NYC is my hometown and a great city to win.

call me crazy but the sacramento kings.

thats a city that loves their team no matter what. i believe they just had the longest sellout streak busted, despite having horrendous years in the past. plus, you dont get the crazy media overhaul of NYC.

Detroit Pistons

The first thing I'd do is renovate our frontcourt.

I'd have to agree with the Thunder. That team has so much potential and some pretty decent trading pieces along with a bunch of first round picks.

Teams with lots of young talent, like the Thunder, Jazz, Blazers, and even the Heat.

Why don't we just name our favorite teams, the Kings.

Lakers or Knicks, whichever is worth the most.

An extra $100MM or so (over some other teams) goes a long way to easing my hate for those teams. Plus those are two great cities.

OKC hands down. Durant is going to be superstar for many years. And for a biased pick if I had to go with another team it would be Dallas.

Golden State Warriors. I'd fix things up and make them a good team again. Rowell is a ****ing idiot.

I would take them Kings. Bias as it may be the Kings are one solid player from being a contending team. They have a decent bench, a superstar in the making, 2 developing young big men, and a loyal crowd. One trade and that whole ball club could change ala KG to the Celts. Hopefully when this summer hits they try to make a play for RJ from the bucks.

I'd take the Clippers.
They need someone to treat the franchise right and make them credible again.

Bulls without a doubt. Largest market that only has one team. Dont pick a team just becouse it has young talent. talent will come and go the market is what is important.

I would definitely take the Sixers if I want my favorite team. But if I couldn't have them, then I would take the Thunder. You gotta love Durant, Green, and Westbrook....plus they have a good shot at landing Thabeet or Griffin in the draft....that would be a sick core of players

Although, my first order of business with the Thunder would be to change their god awful uniforms and logo.

I know some people are gonna say move them back to Seattle and turn them back into the Sonics....but I'll let someone else do that

I have to go home town Raptors baby....
like dude said....its a whole country not just a city...and if you like the L.A. girls and you like the Miami girls....even if you like the New york girls....put them all together and you get Canadian girls baby.....yeah...anywhere you go in the country you get mad respect and love.

and this way I could fire B.C.........lol
