LoL! It just happened right now at the begining of the 3rd quarter.

Brooks fed Yao on the inside and Lebron came Yao's blind side and tried to block it...all he got was ARM and Yao slammed it on him for an and 1!

Wow so now Yao and Nick Young have both put LeBron on a poster.

HAHA it was great to watch, it's ok everyone gets dunked on at some point!

7'6> 6'10"...

Give Bron those extra 8 inches and Yao would get swatted away :)

Please.... height advantage doesn't mean nothing. Didn't Nate Robinson block Yao before? Many people have done it before.

That was one of the best Yao moves I've ever seen, he went up STRONG, and LeBron got embarrassed.

Yea but a 7'-6" guy dunking on a 6'-9" guy still isn't that amazing. It's expected. Now had LeBron made the block, that would have been more amazing, much like Nate Robinson's block. If Yao dunked on Robinson, everyone would say "Who cares?"

Give me a break, the guy is 7-6, Close this tread pls?

yah ok, we get the height difference... but considering that lebron can fly out of the building and yao can barely get 12 inches on his vertical, its not bad

True, but when you have a guy who can't jump to save his life, and a guy to sores to the basket everytime should of been able to block him.

its payback for that block he got last game. it was a good play, bt people act like it was the defensive play of the year :pity:

Nice dunk by Yao and yeah height means nothing when it comes to blocking. Ever heard of one KryptoNate?

Umm Yea but its not like he just dunked on Popeye Jones. 7'6 or or 6'6 if you dunk on LeBron thats a big deal.

it doesnt mean "nothing"
infact it plays quite a large role.

ofcourse there are still shorter people who can block, but that doesnt mean being almost a full foot shorter means you should always make the block..

I didn't say they should always get a block did I? I'm just saying height isn't as important, especially when blocking Yao Ming who doesn't jump very high at all.

Now Yao just blocked the crap out of a LeBron dunk attempt, as LeBron now limps off the court.

Was anybody more impressed by LeBron's block on Aaron Brooks without picking up his 4th foul? Brooks didn't go up very strong, and he's short as hell, but I still thought it was a very good defensive play by Bron.

it makes it extremely easier to block the ball or avoid a block if you are that much taller than a guy. a few people in here said it means "nothing". obviously that is not the case.

I think Nick Young put a tear in Lebron's eye. Or maybe that was his nuts.

*sighs* I wish he would join the slam dunk contest.

Why? Is LeBron James a big time shot blocker now? Yao can dunk w/o jumping so I'm not amazed when he dunks on anybody.

No, but he is a big time player. Im not basing it on if hes a shot blocker.

it doesnt count when the tallest player in the league dunks on a small forward. u call that posterizing someone? if thats the case i saw Vlade posterize Kobe like 4 times.

Yeah the dunk was nice and he should do that every play down low. But the defence the Rockets played tonight was the best I had seen in some time. Just nice to see the team come together and play the way they did tonight. Just a real nice beatdown on the Cavs. Because the last game when the Rockets played the Cavs it was in there house and the refs took the game out of the Rockets hands when Yao had 3 quick fouls within the 1st quarter. So tonight it was the same 3 refs calling this game as before and I am sure when the game film was watched on that game and it showed Varejao floping all over the court the refs were not to pleased with how they called it.

You hyped it up more than it should have been.

exactly, you have to factor in that he's a laker fan and lebron has something to do with it. It's not like any of them would be the first to post a lebron dunk..

exactly, its being hyped up by Laker/Kobe fans cause its James.

He didn't get dunked on, Yao put it in before he could reach from the weak side its not like he was waiting under the basket or Yao even went after him, just got there first.

To be honest the block was way better, that was nasty, the dunk...ehh

When Rockets lost earlier this year in Cleveland Yao Ming was really really angry at the end of the game and the only thing he told the reporters was:"See you in Houston!"

Guess payback is a BiAAAAAAAAATCH!

Yao needs to meaner and he is getting there. Let the guards and anybody coming to that paint know that, they will be a consequences for coming to the paint.
