bull**** when my thread was created it was the only thread of its kind

the fact it says we both posted this at 9:16 tells me i beat you by .01 seconds.

atleast we both beat the other guy

Anyways, that was the most ridiculous shot I ever seen.........he lost the ball, got It back and threw it up there.

02-23-2009, 11:21 PM
yea i was watching it live and the thing is is that he got fouled before that...man i feel kinda bad for the 76ers coach

This is why I hate iggy... If he makes the first free throw he can then miss the 2nd one and then that dont happen.

the Nets had no timeout and they had to bring the ball upcourt, time was winding down and then Harris had to shoot it with 0.1 seconds left at half court (the defender was all over him), he took the shot and it went in

the officials reviewed it and it counted

the crowd went crazy, I did too

Not that simple, he lost the ball, grabbed it back and sank it. No way anyone can do that with less than 2 secs

It happens jeez 3 freaking threads

yeah, but this was absurd
he fouled Iguodala with 1.8 left and NJ has no timeouts.
Iggy misses first makes second
1.8 left remember.
Haris gets it to half court thought he got fouled, temporarily bobbled it, just flipped it up and it was a dead on swish.
amazing

the diff between the two of harris and mopete is that mopete got the ball from the other team, from a shorter distance.
even if in bad quality harris' shot from half court was from teamate, but still half court.
rated to 10
mo-pete 9.3
harris 9.7

well, the clock isn't supposed to start until the person touches it inbounds and you really can't expect them to start the clock at the exact moment Devin Harris touches the ball. It was delayed by a split second but not by a lot, even though in this case, it really did make a difference

That was all luck no skill. (not saying he doesn't have skill) but for just that one shot that was all luck. bobbled it and still put it in. Wow :speechless: I'd like to see that fight that almost went down. yesterday Matt harpring vs Josh smith. that was sick.

3 seconds all wrappred up into 1 second. Wish the refs worked with me all day. My Eight hour day would be done in 3 hours. What a joke!

I'm not saying it wasn't luck, but these dudes practice ridiculous shots at practice and pregame.

yeah iggy thought that was bad, how bout when houston played portland there were exactly 1.8 sec, tell me how the slowest man yao catches the ball turnes around and hits a jumper, clock stops aT .8 there is no way yao only took a sec to shoot, then blazers get the ball it goes to roy he catches the ball takes a step back turns around clutches the ball to the side of his head and it goes in less than .8 sec, ********

Great shot. Every shot made in the NBA has soem element of luck to it. But it also takes a great amount of skill to be in position to make the shot, so no bones to pick there.

Howver, I agree that it's the longest 1.8 seconds I've ever seen, much like Christian Laettner's 1.5 from so long ago. You just can't catch, dribble, bobble, recover, shoot in 1.8 if the clock starts in time.

But, I have no real argument, even as a 76ers fan. Game shouldn't ave been that close. They deserved to lose.

Gutwrencher of the year. Well defended and the clock may have started a tad late.
At least it was in NJ.

harris for mip

Why? Because he hit a shot at the buzzer?

Danny Granger will get MIP, if he doesnt, then I dont know what to say.
