Veteran point guard Jason Williams, who retired last summer, has filed for immediate reinstatement into the NBA. A decision will be made by February 27th.
The Clippers have exclusive rights to Williams but will likely seek to buy him out. It's likely that he'll sign with a playoff-bound team, possibly the Heat or Celtics, but in such a small backup role he's unlikely to have significant value.

Maybe another shooter. Or another defensive guy. If we could get a defensive guy that could shoot, that would be amazing. But you aren't gonna find guys like that in the D-League.

I think they need to pick up someone that is defensive minded that can play the 2 or the 3. Who that is, I don't know.

i dont know who is out there but they need someone and i think another big man wouldnt hurt either

someone that can play d

I wouldnt mind taking a chance on James White in the D league. He can play the 2 & 3 and has amazing athleticism.

White has had some attitude issues and isn't a very good defender. More of a slasher although he is probably a better shooter than Wallace (not saying much) and can jump out of the gym.

However I read an article that I can't find now that said he has really matured.

Not really what we're looking for (defender/shooter) but maybe he could actually be productive for us.
