Wheres that guy who told me it would never happen, I tried to warn you mystery man, another victory for PT differential and Hollingers power rankings. Detroit is very lucky not to be under .500 right now, will they, I would hope not considering all the talent they have but what the hell is wrong with Stuckey? Did someone tell him not to shoot.

Yes, they will finish below .500 After all, their 27-26 and 7th place in the East....

I don't think so... With all that talent I think they'll finish just above .500, but it could happen... Michael Curry seems to be a pretty terrible coach.

They will finish A LITTLE above .500

IMO, the will be below .500 after the next 6 games:
Cleveland, Miami, New Orleans, Orlando, Boston and Denver.

They'll finish a few games over .500.

If they keep playing at the rate at which they are playing, I would not be surprised if the missed the playoffs altogether.

02-21-2009, 02:15 PM
I think they'll finish above 500., but barely

02-21-2009, 04:13 PM
they'll finish 46-38

02-21-2009, 04:16 PM
they'll finish 46-38

kind of impossible...

anyway, i just think they got too much talent to finish below .500.

AI's damn ruined the team. The Nuggets are now Contenders in the West and Detroit sucks

They'll make the playoffs, but barely. Then they face a good possibility of being knocked out in the first round. Iverson's style of play is the exact opposite of what the Pistons are used to. But I think they were having some problems going back to last year's playoffs.
Part of the problem lies with Rasheed Wallace. Guy takes himself out of the game at times, and that really hurts the team.

They'll probably finish with 42-40

02-21-2009, 04:58 PM
over .500 43-46 wins

Iono what happened I looked at the standins today and saw that the Pistons are basically at .500 and in 7th place in the EAST! I was SHOCKED!

they'll finish 46-38

Since they only play 82 games thats very unlikely to happen. And finishings 6 games over .500 is not going to happen. They probably win one maybe two at the most of the up coming games. They will play Boston in thelast of this tough schedule probably without Garnett and still loose. I'm a Pistons fan and I'm hoping the don't make the playoffs. they have no business playing for a title that they have no chance of winning. I'm also hoping they don't make the playoffs because they will get a lottery pick. not that they would keep a weak draft pick this year but it would give them another chip for trading this off season. This isn't their year but they'll be back .

.500, losing 6 straight

02-23-2009, 03:30 PM
They've got a pretty tough next 5 or 6 games, so I say they finish 40-42.

02-25-2009, 04:22 PM
27-28, losing 7 straight.

02-25-2009, 09:08 PM
i say no just because they still have a lot of talent on the team

03-27-2009, 12:43 PM
7th place in the East right now, will Charlotte jump over them and make them miss the playoffs?

04-05-2009, 07:39 AM
they're the 8th seed right now.

Today's matchup with the Bobcats will determine a lot. If the Bobcats take it, I could see them make the playoffs over the Pistons.

I knew they were going to finish the season below .500 Just not this badly, and being almost out of playoff contention.

Sheed just easily get de-motivated when his team isn't playing well. Like him or not, he has always been a guy more interested in fitting in than a guy who takes over.
