I noticed that breakout stars like Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose and Brandon Roy don't have nicknames yet...so my question is, what would you nickname the NBA's newest stars. With Shaq bitter in Phoenix someone has to step up :p

I'm still pondering...

Brandon Roy goes by B-Roy and their announcer calls him "The Natural"
Derrick Rose goes by "Poohdini"
I'm not sure if KD has a nickname of not.

D Rose is quite as hell. There was this funny thing on NBA TV, and Beasley and some other guy were like I never hear D Rose talk. And they are like when they say whats up he does a head thing.

He should be the Silent Assassin

Rose being Poohdini is a childhood thing.

"Rose's family includes his mother and three older brothers Dwayne, Reggie and Allen. He often went to his grandmother's house nearby in his Englewood neighborhood. She was the one who gave him his nickname "Pooh", which references the fact that he had yellowish skin and a slightly chubby appearance like Winnie-the-Pooh when he was born. Rose has a tattoo on his left biceps depicting a wizard holding a staff in one hand and a basketball in the other below the word "Poohdini". The entire image is below the word "Poohdini."

Isn't the Silent Assassin Chris Paul's other nickname than CP3? Flight 35 - I like that for Kevin Durant.
