Indeed, it really has been. I wish my Sixers would do something but it looks like we're standing pat. I just really thought we would've traded Andre Miller by now...:sigh:

Wasn't there something about VC going to the Rockets for Artest and somebody else? Or was it just speculation?

TheChosenOne88
02-19-2009, 03:58 PM
My sources have told me Chris Bosh will be in a Bulls uniform as we speak. The Celtics have traded KG, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen to the Knicks for David Lee, Eddy Curry, Al Harrington, Larry Hughes, and others. Oh wait thats Steven A. Smith, not me.

Unless you are a Kings fan (like me) and you trade all your garbage for more garbage that luckily have expiring contracts; meanwhile the team will easily lose just about every game for the rest of the season.

We could still see a couple minor trades that have been already processed, and just not announced.

The next 30 minutes will tell, after that, nothing has happened.

O'Bryant to the Kings for a pick, wow a lot of big names moved.

well hughes was significant to us and we got rid of him for a couple big men thank god. even tho one is injured lol.

WEAK, WEAK, WEAK!!!

I am glad that the Bulls were able to dump Hughes, even though it netted us more garbage. But James' contract expires end of this year, and Thomas' for 2010...

what a surpires, with the 2010 Fa Class looming NO ONE dares to make a move ;)

Next February will be even MORE boring.

I'm pretty sure he has a player option which he will definitely execute for next year since he is not worth what he will be paid.

So what are the odd's that a trade will be announced after 3pm today??

PhillyForLife90
02-19-2009, 04:07 PM
What a bust of a trade deadline this was. So many big names, but most of it was just speculation. Whats worse for me, the Sixers will probably lose Andre Miller this summer, and we could've traded him for some young talent or just something!

PrimeTimeJ

Final trade of the deadline...

Looks like we have a fairly significant three-way deal that has been submitted to the league just before the trade deadline.

NBA front-office sources tell ESPN.com that Orlando is acquiring Rafer Alston from Houston to fill the void created at point guard by Jameer Nelson's shoulder injury.

The Rockets will receive Memphis guard Kyle Lowry, Orlando forward Brian Cook and perhaps two other minimum-salaried players to make the finances work.

The Grizzlies will receive a first-round pick from Orlando.

The Pacers stink. Are irrelevant and have no chance at winning a title this year or for a few years to be honest. The cavs however have the best player in the league and have been in trade rumors involving 5 or 6 top nba players. Im pretty shocked they did nothing. Lebron is gone.

This deadline has been boring but thats only because we all thought for sure that atleast one of Bosh, Amare, Shaq, Vince Carter, T-Mac, Kidd, Wallys contract would be traded. However its been minor deals and nothing else. Pretty boring, especially when i kept refreshing and listening to WEEI for SOMETHING.

Hey remember, what ever deal that was in talks before the deadline still can get done. Most of these players can be released and picked up by another team;) also it would be intresting to see What players that are looking for a buyout would end up?

The Bulls changed their roster the most this deadline.

That's gonna be the big storyline in the next week...guys who get bought out will be going to places like the Cavs, Spurs, and Celtics....Joe Smith, Marbury, a few others will be looking for homes in the upcoming weeks....

Chandler to the Pacers for like Foster and so on was Rumored.
Kings,Boston and Raptors did a 3-Way Solomon to the Kings,O'Bryant to the Raptors and a Draft Pick to the Celtics. Maybe Beno,Kenny Thomas and Bobby Jackson could have gotten in the Trade.

Not any blockbusters this year except for the Iverson for Billups trade. O'Neal and Marion are not as good as they used to be and the Chandler trade didn't work out.
