The NBA will borrow $175 million on February 26 and will make the cash available to 15 teams.

Here's my solution, how about cut pay roll and trim players salaries instead of borrowing. In a tight economic situation, everyone has to contribute. Stop borrowing, try managing what you have.

No paycuts. Players deserve what they get. Imagine Kobe Bryant,. he earns 20M a year. You can say that is A LOT, but thats not a lot compared to what he brings to the Lakers. Jerry Buss earns TONS from Kobe Bryant.

Guys like LBJ, they earn what they get.

Certain NBA teams just need to cut down on their spending.

All of the above, but there's no way NBA players agree to a salary cut before the next collective bargaining agreement in 2011. Garuanteed contracts are going to drive the league bankrupt.

You are right, and that is scary. The Knicks/Magic and all their over the top contracts is coming back to bite the NBA

Stop paying guys soo much money. If they weren't in the NBA what would they be doing? How many guys would even make 50 k a year?

How are we to determine how much they would be making if they didn't play basketball (A sport that they've made their profession).
