Make a prediction on weather a team makes a move or what players get traded to whom.

For Example:
I think Tyson Chandler will be trade to OKC

I think the Trailblazers will trade Raef LaFreantz and other pieces for either Richard Jefferson or John Samons

I think Vinsanity stays in NJ

Kings will make a trade. They have Great Trade pieces

55% Amare stays with Suns
30% Amare is traded to Bulls
15% Amare is traded to Cavs

I don't think the Nuggs will make a move, we could use another big and a backup PG but I don't think the FO will do anything.

I think you see a realtively quiet trade deadline with amare staying in place. you may see some small deals but I don't think anything big will occur especially not the magnitude of an amare trade.

Amare to SAC for Jason Thompson, their 2009 first round pick & expirings (Jackson & Williams).

Chandler will be dealt to OKC

Pretty sure the Bulls will make some trade. Even if it doesn't involve Amare. Blazers will get rid of LaFrentz (but not for Jefferson). Hornets getting rid of Chandler is likely. If Amare isn't traded, then the trades will all be smaller type deals. I am at a 38% chance of the Bulls getting Amare at this point.

i think there might be one big trade that nobody has thought of yet or didnt think could happen. I also see a Shaq buyout before the end of his contract (the suns want to run again).

Amare to SAC for Jason Thompson, their 2009 first round pick & expirings (Jackson & Williams).

That's not a Geoff Petrie trade. Houston's pick in place of ours, maybe. But even if we acquired Amare, he and Martin wouldn't be enough to get us out of a top 5 pick most likely. And Amare is not worth a future double double PF, a top 5 pick, and expirings. He's elite offensively, but horrible defensively.

I think Brad Miller to the Knicks will happen.

I have a feeling bosh gets traded...there are already rumours he told the raptors he won't re-sign...i'll say he gets traded to phoenix for amare and a first round pick, or maybe two, if the suns are desparate enough to improve.

Some people are saying that Jason Thompson and our 2009 first is too much to give up for Amare, and I agree. What do you guys think considering the other offers the other teams are throwing out...for instance the Bulls who are offering Tyrus Thomas the main trade piece...Thompson and our 1st round are BOTH worth more than Tyrus Thomas. At most id give up one or the other.

Amare is way more valuable than Jason Thompson or an early 1st rounder. SAC has no other assets and the team is a bottom-feeder. It's worth taking a chance on Amare and pairing him with Martin.

No it's not. Thompson, like I said, is 22 and he's getting like 11 and 7 now as a rookie. And I would much rather have a 20 year old Blake Griffin than a 26-27 year old Amare. Betting that the draft lottery will save your team and trading for Amare are both gambles but the former reaps better results and is less of a risk. Hanging onto Thompson while adding a Blake Griffin, James Harden, Hasheem Thabeet, etc. in the draft or trading for Stoudemire who could easily (and probably would) leave after the 2010 season.

whoever said Jason thompson and a pick is better than Amare has truly never watched Amare before this year. Dude You know how you said thompson is better than Tyrus? just look at their numbers when they get equal minutes, they are both 22 Tyrus is about 50x more efficient. The Kings would have to be ******** not to do that deal, but it doesn't matter because the suns never would do that. AMARE is staying put... i'm assuming gentry says something like "i can make it work, just leave amare, and if he doesn't work, move him in the summer"

Clippers neeeeeed to make some kind of trade. Preferably Kaman for Vince Carter, but thats probably wishful thinking. I don't want to include Eric Gordon in any deals.

But would you rather have an 8.8% chance at getting Blake Griffin or Amare? This is a really weak draft. Blake Griffin is the only sure thing. Sacramento doesn't need Harden. They have Kevin Martin. Thabeet is very raw and Spencer Hawes is solid anyways. If Sacramento can acquire Amar'e for Thompson and the #5 pick, they should do it. Otherwise, draft J'rue Holliday to play next to Kevin Martin.

And then what happens in 2010 when he bolts?

A core of Martin, Stoudemire, and Hawes isn't even close to enough to contend in the West. In a season and a half with Sac, Amare will have realized this and I wouldn't count on him sticking around. And right now Martin, Amare, Salmons would still probably be the worst team in the NBA. Scoring, which is what Amare provides, isn't our problem. We're by far the worst defensive team in the NBA and Thompson is one of the only above average defenders we have. So we're swapping the best possible shot at Blake Griffin and a promising young rookie F for a 20 and 8 big man who doesn't D up, who's more than likely not even a 2 year rental.

Raptors GM Brian Colangelo has already stated that he won't even facilitate offers for Bosh at this point.

I think the Raptors will look to trade either Jason Kapono or Anthony Parker

Anthony Parker is an expiring and too valuable to the Raps for them to deal him so I doubt that happens. A deal with Kapono however I could see going down.

no way the kings would trade thompson and their pick for amare. just repeating it but why would a rebuilding team trade away two of their best rebuilding pieces (jt and probably top 3 choice) for a year and a half rental. the suns would love that deal but no way the kings do it.

Quote:
"The Suns play at home Tuesday, the NBA trading deadline is Thursday, and even the roar that greeted Amare Stoudemire during Sunday's player introductions couldn't drown out the rumors surrounding the four-time All-Star.

"If my last home game is the All-Star starter here, that will be a great way to go out," Stoudemire said. "I turn every negative into a positive."

The Arizona Republic reported Sunday that Suns assistant Alvin Gentry would replace Terry Porter as coach at Monday's practice, and the growing sense now is Phoenix will keep Stoudemire."

I am probably gonna be ver dissapointed. With all this hype of Amare to Chicago for nothing, and Camby an untouchable, who can we really trade for that would make a difference?

I hope Paxson dies of cancer.
