There's still about a month and a half left until the season begins, but Spring Training games start in less than a week. It appears as if the Dodgers are still the favorites for Manny, but you never know what's going to happen with a Boras client. The Dodgers don't seem willing to give in to Boras' demands, and everyone knows what can happen when Manny doesn't get the money he wants.

Is this cause for concern at all?

Considering the options for Manny to sign with another team are slim, I think he ends up in LA.

The longer the saga goes on the more I think the evil empire jumps back into things.

If Manny values his job, he'll wind up signing with them.

I think every team in baseball should at least offer a contract.... If the mets offered up 4/60, whats the worst thing that can happen?

Worried: No

Tired of the situation, and want to get it over with so we can move on and maybe add a couple more pieces, hopefully to the pitching staff: Yes

Being the laughing-stock of baseball. Also, they don't even have that money. They broke the bank on Citi Fie-Oh yeah...

i'm not worried, its not like any of the free spending teams will just offer him a big contract. NO one else can get him, and no where else would embrace him as much as we can. I mean **** it's LA who wouldn't want to play in LA with a 20+ Million Dollar Contract where the fans will love you.

No one will match the offers made by the Dodgers.

In this market they offered way too much for Manny

Absolutely not. I am worried about our pitching. Manny is going to be a Dodger. Where else can he go? It would make me feel a lot better if we hurried and got that over with. I am not worried about Manny acting up. As much as people suggest he quit on Boston, his numbers were second to none compared to the other players on the team in his last month (July) with the Red Sox. His numbers:
.347 BA, 1.060 OPS, .587 SLG, and .473 OBP. Doesn't appear he quit playing at all. Maybe his behavior wasn't good, but his numbers were excellent.
