We all have similar favorite players over time but i love to hear about fans who liked and appreciated players that werent the "number 1 or 2 " options but rather the role players that do all the little things

Frank loves and misses Chucky Oakley, his grit, rebounding, loose balls, jump shots, charge taking ability, oh man do we need some of the old oak in this lockerroom

Kevin Willis. How could you not love that guy? Oak at a close 2nd, probably would've been 1st if he didn't think he had a jump shot.

you always knew what you were getting from JYD

I put JYD because I loved his personality as a kid. But I miss guys like Oak and Alvin too.

Hey Frank- just say the word and I can add players to the poll for you if you want.

my all time team of role players would be:

Oak, Alvin, JYD, MoPete, and Christie

JYD cuz of his goofy look and the energy he brought. Dell Curry and Dee Brown instant offense from those 2 if the ball got to them at the perimeter you know 90% of the time it was gonna go in. I love Oak too still

Those 2 guy's and Dell Curry were so deadly from beyond.Derrick Martin should get some prop's just because he did keep the three point streak alive that was such a horrible game other than that last shot.

and the work martin did with jose. I don't even think martin realized he jacked up that shot at the buzzer to keep the 3 point streak alive maybe just to make the loss a lil bit less embarrassing lol.

i saw in the post game interview that d martin knew exactly what was at stake, took the shot for the fans( what a nice guy) and the fact that it was such a nice finish pure swish keeps our streak alive and counting one streak no team will ever catch

Tough you couldnt vote twice, its a toss up between JYD, Alvin, & Oakley

All 3 guys played with such a huge passion even if their stats read 0 across the board they brough it with defense, and hustle (setting picks, getting back on defense, help defense etc.)

Alvin Williams is probably going to go down as one of my Favorite Raptors becasue he never gave up on us, any info what he is doing now with his career?

Is that streak still going?

streak still going, and alvin boogie williams retired from the nba after the 2006 season he was on the bench injured for the first mithell yrs and mitchell mentioned in interviews that alvin has always been a pleasure even in his tough times and he always helped the young pgs including caldy

we had a couple games this yr i think with only 1 or 2 threes all game, always close with that streak,

Frank honestly beleives we will turn it around post break, the SA game was huge going into the break

I would want to retire Williams' jersey here, along with JYD's & Oaks & Davis.

JYD's always been a class act. Even when he got traded from Detroit. I remember him driving himself all the way to Toronto that same night. One guy that was happy to be here. We need more players like that. I think he's still with the team doing scouting or marketing or something.

More shats!

Joey Graham. Hes got what it takes to be a big impact player off that bench. Triano has shown his true versatility. I just hope he isnt pullin a one season wonder on us, but he is VERY versatile and can play the SG, SF or PF. My fav for sure.
