Several team executives told CBSSports.com that no clear front-runner has emerged as Suns president Steve Kerr tries to extract the best possible offer for Stoudemire, whose stock has fallen as Phoenix continues to struggle in its adjustment to a new style under coach Terry Porter. The Raptors are "pushing hard," one exec said, but at this point want to pair Stoudemire with Chris Bosh and continue to rebuff any trade proposals that include parting with the team's cornerstone. Bosh has a player option after next season and can become one of the headliners in the 2010 free-agent class

Makes no sense anyway. Amare + Bosh?? They've spent the last 3 years developing Andrea Bargnani as what? Trade bait for a rental? The Suns would want Bosh in return anyway.

Calderon?

I don't think it's a good idea to pair 2 offensive minded big men together. It's better for the Raps to trade for a wing scorer/slasher

Jermaine Oneal and Bosh did'nt work, what makes you think Bosh and Amare would:rolleyes: and like someone mention they are both offense minded.

Chris Bosh would have to be going the other way if the Raptors were to get Amare.

The Raptors have no attractive pieces besides Bosh to trade. It's not like they'll give up Calderon. Nobody wants Jermaine O'neal. I have a feeling Bosh is going to leave Toronto in the near future.

The raps have no good pieces to give. Besides two offensive minded big men are not going to work for the raps

This is a bad idea. No way Bosh is going to stay in Toronto and neither will Amare so they will end up losing big time in 2 years.

They'd have to trade JO though.

I don't see it happening because I don't think the Suns would get what they want in return nor could the Raptors provide what they want if they don't send Bosh back.

Amare is in his prime and 26 JO is way pass his and 30.Amare is a Athletic power player JO can't do the things he use to do in the past at a consistent level.Amare is a 20 ppg and 8-9 rpg player right now, JO is a 15 ppg 8 rpg at best.I am not sure they could work 100% but i think Amare and Bosh would wotk better because they are in there prime together and no team would want to defend thosde two.I think we could have problems making them fit together because they are similar on offence and yes they both suck on defence so that could be a problem but is worth it trying to make it happen.

There is no way that Phoenix makes this trade.

Bargnani
Joey Graham
Anthony Parker
Will Solomon
First round pick in 09(Top 5-8 protected)

I am sure that is a hell of a offer and the draft pick and expirings put it over the top along with a young talented foward who is only gettring better.I put that offer and i am sure Phoenix thinks long and hard about it.So if BC wanted he could put one hell of a package to get Amare.
