The fun just never seems to end for Dwyane Wade. If it's not divorce proceedings or failed business ventures, it's an ex-business associate telling tales of drug-fueled sex parties at the NBA star's condo.

According to Jose Lambiet of the Palm Beach Post, former Wade business partner Richard Von Houtman said he witnessed Wade smoking pot, and that that he saw "remnants of sex parties" at a Miami Beach apartment used by Wade, who was married, and his entourage.

"The man isn't what people worldwide think he is," Von Houtman said Sunday in an extensive interview. "He and his friends are just a bunch of idiots. I mean, I'm in Chicago at a charity party in 2007, and weed is being passed around and Wade takes a hit. In front of everybody.

"I got sucked into doing business with him because he has a first-class media persona, the new Michael Jordan. He was that good guy, father-of-the-year, celebrity who had his head on his shoulder. I found out after a year he was not like that."

Von Houtman rented Wade a $1.7 million, two-story condo in the Spear Building on Miami Beach for $20,000 in 2007 and '08. He turned it over to Wade and his childhood friend Marcus Andrews to use as headquarters for their marketing company, Wade Global Enterprises. But, according to Van Houtman, it also became a headquarters for sexy time.

"They'd have these parties in there two or three times a week," Von Houtman said. "There were always dozens of people in there. Rappers, Dwyane and his entourage, women they'd pick up in clubs. They (Wade and Andrews) both made it clear to me how their goal in life is to have sex with as many women as possible."

It's worth noting that Wade's publicist says that Van Houten's claims are "fairy tales." Wasn't it just a short while ago that Wade was the ultimate super-religious, happily married straight arrow? When did evil Dwyane escape the Phantom Zone?

Wow, I guess that's what it's come to that it's just cool for guys to do this. Dude, you're ****ing married and have children. It's NOT COOL. That is not how you act as a father and a husband, it's not. My perception of Wade has certainly changed. He's acting like he's a 20yr old college kid. It's no wonder all his businesses fail, ect. if this is how intelligent he is. You don't want your kids to be able to find an article on the internet about their dad having sex with all kinds of women while he was married to your mom. If you're single and have no kids it's almost understandable but damn man...act like a MAN and be a good father. If this is true, its very sad. Yeah, I wouldn't mind to be partying like that, but its D-Wade. I mean, he's a strong figure in the NBA, and people get the wrong representations of ball players if they hear stories like this. When you're in the NBA, you have to be professional, meaning not just on the court but off the court. With all due respect to Snoop, but that's the type of **** that Snoop Dogg would do.

Take the news with a grain of salt man its credibility is sketchy at best! Do you believe everything you read? But if he did do all those things i'd agree with your statement entirely, but i highly doubt he would do such a stupid thing in front of so many people being in the public eye as much as he is. Why can't he talk if he's mormon? What? Because his morals and values aren't in the toilet if he's a mormon? Because there's more to life than POT and sticking your dick in disease infested vaginas? You're a ****ing ****** and so is most of everyone else on here.

Here's a man who's married and is a father and spends nights away doing drugs and having sex parties in a house he's supposed to be using as an HQ for his business and people praise him. Amazing. 1. Who doesn't love themselves a good fixing of pot and disease infested vaginas in the morning?

2. On a more serious note, apparently Wade also abandoned his children and gave his wife STD's. He also doesn't support them financially as well. Wade isn't really the greatest guy in the world (by the way, he was still named father of the year...).

That's true to a certain extent. He and his wife were actually on Oprah about this. If I remember correctly, his wife allows him to cheat on her once a year as long as she knows who the woman is.

Yea, but honestly how naive is that? He probably cheats in droves man.

Most people know what drug attics go through and it doesn't make them any less susceptible to do drugs. Wade's mom doing drugs is not, at all, any sort of evidence to prove Wade did not do drugs himself.

all joking aside... Phelps is taking a hit (literally) from his endorsement deals... Do you think if Wade admits to this or if more evidence is leaked (remember smoking weed is illegal) will this effect his image (losing endorsements)?

It's all fun and games but as a professional who is looked up to by kids as as a role model, I think it's a bad idea. At least don't get caught doing it or hosting it..etc

Look proffesional athletes are supposed to role models (I understand this is refuted by people but they are public figures and should in public including big parties be careful from what they do), Dwade especially since he was a father of the year and a guy the NBA markets for NBA cares etc. I am disapppointned in his behaviour and I am a big fan but this doesnt turn me off so much as having him on my team but it disappoints me to know what kid of person he is. Sex and pot over his wife and children and his teamates come one thats pretty selfish. I will always respect him on the court but I always have special respect for the good guys in the game. These guys could be stars who are so far considered "clean" (Bosh, Dirk, Mutumbo), guys who have overcome bad images to emerge as great guys (Mayo-yes its early, artest) or role players who are really really nice guys and constantly give back (Peterson, Robert Horry etc)

I just did...and it said that marijuana does not cause or increase the chances of getting lung cancer. There you go.

According to a recent study by the University of California Los Angeles, there is no increased lung cancer risk in smoking marijuana.

The study presented at the annual American Thoracic Society meeting this week in San Diego, studied the lives of those under 60, since that age group is most to have been exposed to the heaviest amounts of marijuana use.

http://lungcancer.about.com/od/causesoflungcance1/f/marijuana.htm

The link between smoking tobacco and lung cancer is undeniable, but does smoking marijuana cause lung cancer, too? The short answer -- probably.

In 2006, many of us in medicine were shocked when a review of research to date did not show an increase in lung cancer related to marijuana use. There was even a suggestion that marijuana had a protective effect against lung cancer. Recent studies, in contrast, do appear to link smoking marijuana with lung cancer.

One study demonstrated a doubling in lung cancer for male marijuana smokers who also used tobacco. Another study found that long-term use of marijuana increased the risk of lung cancer in young adults (55 and under), with the risk increasing in proportion to the amount of marijuana smoked.

Why the controversy?

Since marijuana is illegal, it is hard to do the controlled studies that have been done with tobacco. Because of this, it helps to look at what we do know about marijuana:

* Many of the carcinogens and co-carcinogens present in tobacco smoke are also present in smoke from marijuana.

* Marijuana smoking does cause inflammation and cell damage, and it has been associated with pre-cancerous changes in lung tissue.

* Marijuana has been shown to cause immune system dysfunction, possibly predisposing individuals to cancer.

Bottom line: Though marijuana most likely pales in cancer risk when compared to cigarette smoking, it's better to play it safe. There are reasons in addition to lung cancer risk (and the fact that it is illegal) to avoid marijuana. Marijuana likely increases the risk of prostate cancer, cervical cancer, a type of brain tumor, and the risk of leukemia in the offspring of women who use it during pregnancy.
