Who is or was the best sidekick in the NBA?

My choice is of course Scottie Pippen not because he is the obvious choice but when Jordan left he became a twenty point scorer, showing he can hold hos own as well be a great SIDEKICK.

hard to classify some people like Kobe as sidekicks but maybe him and Shaq if they stayed together for longer

I wouldn't really call Garnett a sidekick.........so I'd say either Allen, Gasol, or Billups

Pippen is the greatest sidekick ever. Kobe was the best current sidekick when he was the second most important player on the Lakers team that won three championships (yes, Shaquille was the most important).

They were kind of a package deal. It was always Stockton and Malone. I think Stockton could have done well anywhere, but Malone really benefited from Stockton.

Currently? I'd say Mo Williams or Pau Gasol.

From the past? Can we consider Kobe a sidekick? (Just kidding, Lakers fans. Just kidding.)
