You need to at least include the Magic on that list...

The Lakers have the best record, demolished SA, are 2-0 vs Boston and 1-0 vs Cleveland. Why is this a poll?

Cavs just got handed their 1st loss @ their home stadium and held Lebron to another crappy game by the LAKERS BABY!

To be fair Kobe did hit some semi-big shots, in the 3rd he made 2 in a row jump shots that kinda sparked the comeback, and also that high arc fade away.

So whats the point of this thread again? Lakers just beat the full strength Cavs w/o Bynum and a sick Kobe IN CLEVELAND where they were 23-0.

No more excuses for anyone.

The Lakers have shown me a lot. They've beat the Celtics and Cavs on the road, and each at home. I think they split with the Spurs, and since the Spurs also beat the Celtics at Boston, they are also up there. I'd take the Lakers though because they are still playing well without Bynum, and Bynum will be back by the postseason, so I'm pickin them to win it all.

Lakers jumped up to the top of my list. That was an extremely impressive road trip by them knocking off the Cavs and the Celtics in concescutive games. The Celtics have also been struggling of late.

so if lets say celtics was 25 games below .500 and dead last in the east, were they still be the best?

the celtics have the best team.

No they don't. Their bench isn't even Top 10 in the league. They have the best trio of players (KG, Allen, Pierce) and maybe even the best starting lineup (debatable), but they don't have the best team.

The Cavs are the best team right now. They just had a really bad off game against the Lakers. That happens every once in a while. Also, the Lakers played very well. They're a very close second in my eyes.

Meh. Everyones entitled to their opinion obviously, but the Lakers have beat the Cavs twice now and both were by double digits and also in both wins they really threw lebron off his game.

As Gasol would say it: The Cavs are a good team, but we're just a better team.

Delonte West makes a difference. He's a better penetrator than Mo Williams, which is what Cleveland needed in the fourth quarter.

I'll give you Delonte, but if you give us Bynum he would clog the inside a lot more too.

What if the Lakers had gotten swept by the Cavs? Cavs had 2 chances to beat a team that they may see in the Finals and couldn't make a stament and now the Lakers own the tie braker?

Bynum is more important to our team than West is to the Cavs.

Lakers and even better than the CAVS and CELTICS w/o bynum....the depth is sick and players stepping up and contributing makes them that much stronger. Wait til postseason comes around....UHHHHH its done
