Nope, the Indiana Pacers deserve worse than a C rating. Everything is right except for coaching, which deserves a D+ instead of a B-. Maybe I was spoiled by coaches like Larry Bird and Rick Carlisle, but Jim O'Brien is possibly the worst in-game coach I've ever seen. His rotations are horrendous, he calls some bonehead plays, and keeps struggling players in and sits productive ones. Players like Jarret Jack have three or more unforced turnovers a game and get 30mins, while Roy Hibbert gets 8pts and 7rbs in 12 minutes and yet hardly gets off the bench. The biggest surprise of the season, Josh McRoberts, brings energy, defense, and shot blocking every time he gets on the floor. He's sitting in street clothes. If O'Brien hadn't decided to have 6'3" Jarret Jack defend 6'6" Kobe Bryant, the Pacers would have swept the Lakers. If anyone wonders why the Pacers record is so far under .500, it's because of coaching.

I'd give a better grade on our bench and Coaching. so our overall should be like B to B+. all the other catagories seem about right.

Phoenix, a B? No. Very wrong.

I think a lot of it depends on if it is based on performance or performance compared to expectations.

Looking around it seems like it is straight up performance. For instance, the Hornets have been under-performing compared to what the expectations were (at least in my mind).

I don't know. I think LA deserved an A+ in bench (in the first half of the season)

We had Odom, Farmar, Vujacic, Ariza.

Well, they're not any good so don't know why that's such a big deal.

Raptors got a D because people expected them to be in the hunt for homecourt, not fighting for the worst record in the east.

The Knicks should have coaching A and defense F!!
