Who do you guys think would be a great coach and was once a former player or current player?

My vote is for Jason Kidd, John Stockton and Tim Duncan. Almost forgot Steve Nash.

Derek Fisher I think would be a pretty good coach. Though he's indicated he doesn't think he'll want to coach.

Duncan is too quiet to be a coach.

Brian Scalabrine seems like a bright guy, and I'm pretty sure he has expressed interest in the past about becoming a head coach. It's a good question but kind of hard to predict. Usually guys you don't expect become coaches. Hopefully Tracy McGrady doesn't pursue a career in coaching though. Or Rasheed Wallace. That team would be doomed.

I could see Chauncey Billups as one, Andre Miller, Tayshaun Prince, Matt Bonner, or Brent Barry.

Chauncey Billups, Sam Cassel, Tony Parker, Ben Wallace, Steve Kerr (I feel like it's a Mchale type of thing with him, bad exec but would be a good coach), not sure how I feel about Scottie Pippen but I think he could be ok.

Pau Gasol. And, I'll get alot of messages and flak for this, but I think Lamar Odom would make a great player coach.

Odom would find a way to disappear on the bench somehow.

Steve Nash, for sure.

Or Rasheed Wallace. That team would be doomed.

Funny you say that. Most players and coaches say he would be a great coach. I have watched him go to the magics bench to make sure D. Howard understood some post move Rasheed burned him with.

Don't throw legends under the bus.

Alonzo mourning. Considering how hard he worked himself, i'm sure he would make his players work soo hard.

Doug Christie... though his wife would actually be the one coaching.
