Let's say they wind up with the #1 overall pick. Very possible.

PG - Russell Westbrook
SG - Kevin Durant
SF-Jeff Green (very very underrated)
PF - Nick Collison
C - Blake Griffin

I can see this team in good shape for a very, very long time.

I think they sign Ben Gordon in this coming offseason.

I hope they draft someone who later becomes a bust (a la Kwame Brown), and later drives the team into the ground.

I could see them signing Boozer in the offseason. That would fill a hole.

The Blazers and the Thunder are going to dominate the west soon, IF the Blazers can hold onto their talent and the Thunder add more pieces.

LOL Griffin is a PF, why force something that you don't have to, trade Jeff Green for a true SG who can Guard the perimeter, and hit 3's.

You could be the best defensive team in the league if you play your cards right

I don't think Durant should play SG at any time, ever since he's moved to SF, his productivity has gone through the roof (he's on my fantasy team, putting up top 5 numbers). Griffin would be great for OKC, being from Oklahoma, it would do wonders to maintain interest while they go through building patches. They'll be great soon, especially since their core players are strong defensively, and will get better with experience.

The only problem down the road I see is Jeff Green being a sixth man now that they moved Kevin Durant back to SF and has been doing much better. Since they have soo much cap they could sign Blake Griffen and still have room for a center and Ben Gordon.

I've seen the Thunder 5 or 6 times this year. Their first game was a blowout by like 30 at halftime. But they've been getting better every single game. And they play really hard. Which is a good sign for a young team that hasn't seen much success yet.

OKC is going to be ready to compete by 2011. They going to be in it. They are def. going to have a high pick this year. And maybe another high pick in 2010; however after that the Thunder will take the West over.
