Paul left Monday’s game against the Trail Blazers late in the third quarter with an apparent groin strain, the Associated Press reports.

The Hornets led 72-55 when Paul left the game.
Final score: New Orleans 89, Portland 97

Without Paul, the Blazers outscored the Hornets 42:17!

So I guess Chris Paul is semi-important to the Hornets success.

Guess that shows CP3 is most important to his team.

It looked to be a pretty significant pull, he went down immediately.

The Hornets were in control of the game until Paul went down, after that their lead was gone in about 5 minutes.

Hope he's not out to long, he's a heck of a player.

from the sounds of things, it looks like Bynum is the real MVP. the way people are talking about how much he means to not only the lakers but the league period.

anyways, i doubt CP misses any more time. this didnt seem like an injury that will make him miss a chunk of time

That is amazing. Proof as to why he should be in the race for "Most Valuable Player" to his team.

Got a good laugh out of this. In my head I read it really slow, and in a musing tone.

Truly the MVP! The Hornets are NOTHING without Paul and I have always said it. The Hornets have a nice enough record, he should def. be MVP! The Hornets were outscored 42-17. Look at that. Def. PAUL is the MVP. Without Paul the Hornets would be messing with the Warriors. Without Kobe, Lakers still might be 8th or 9th seed in the West.

Yeah, I know. But during OT, the Lakers game plan probi was to give the ball to Kobe and when he fouled out they had no game plan lol.
