Alcides Escobar isn't a '****ing stud'. Maybe once he slugs over .400 somewhere other than AA, I'll buy it.

braun? pujols? hanley.... etc

Um, considering there's 4 years of rookies comin up, I won't make any predictions

I don't know why you even waste your time making threads. All that ever happens is that people complain and whine and don't even talk about baseball.

So I guess in 3 years, all prospects will magically live up to and exceed all hype and be complete studs.

Stupidest thread I've ever seen.

01-31-2009, 12:41 AM
This guy is an epic failure.

Braun? Pujols? Hanley? A-Rod? Fielder? David Wright? Jose Reyes? Matt Holiday?

You seriously think that 3 years from now, these guys are over the hill? Get real. Your list is more like the 2015 all star team. Close please.

Yea I mean just because it was 4 years from now doesn't mean there won't be any big current name players. It's very likely A-Rod, Ryan Howard, Pujols, Santana, Josh Hamilton, could still be on there.

sacgiants1213
01-31-2009, 12:52 AM
This is more like the 2018 all star teams...

Run Gardner Run
01-31-2009, 12:59 AM
I can almost guarantee that Arod will still be getting voted in as the 3Bman in 3 years. Not to mention guys like Pujols, Pedroia/Cano, Teixeira...

Yea those guys aren't just going to drop off the planet in 3 years....this is more like a who will be the best upcoming players at their position in three years post, not an all star post

D-Raw127
01-31-2009, 01:18 AM
so Jamie Moyer is gonna be an all-star at the age of 50??

People here are too anal.

But perhaps the OP should change the title to "best under 25 team in 3 years" or something.

The MLB should adopt what the NHL does with their all star game, they have a "Young Stars" game the day before the real all star game. Wouldn't it be fun to see the best prospects in the MLB battling it out in an all star type game? They take the previous year's team and pit them against a new batch of prospects so it's also interesting to see how everyone has improved in a year.

MooseWithFleas
01-31-2009, 03:48 AM
Do you know how many "cant miss" prospects burn out and are never heard of again. You are going to look back at this list in 3 years and be ashamed

I wish baseball worked that way, where every top prospect made the All-Star team in their first or second season, beating out every bona fide superstar already in the league.

Moyer isn't even signed for 2012...hes signed for 09 and 10 i think he will be retired....but how do u come up with that type of team? no current young stars and all these 20 year olds then Moyer??? where does Moyer come from? You do realize the fans vote for starting teams? A-Rod and Jeter and Tex will be on the team just because of popularity.

Jamie Moyer? Ahahahahah. A bunch of spects and the only one that isn't is Cole Hamels, which means you are saying in 2012 he will be the best pitcher in the league, and Jaime Moyer, a 68-year-old.
