MIAMI -- The Atlanta Hawks went nearly 13 1/2 minutes without a field goal in the first half of their game against the Miami Heat on Monday night.

Atlanta missed 13 straight shots and committed 10 turnovers during the equivalent of more than a quarter. The Hawks' 27 points at halftime were the fewest in franchise history.

It was great, but the Hawks were also really off.

Havent seen the game or the stats so the only thing that comes to mind is why wasnt Joe Johnson in the game the entire 4th?

Hawks like to shoot to many 3's

they live and die with the 3

Actually he was, and he almost had a beastly dunk. I don't know what was wrong with us today and not having Horford has really hurt us.

No, we just sucked today, and have been sucking for a while.

We miss Horford.

give us a little credit. You guys did suck bad, but Miami has pretty good defense. Forced a lot of turnovers, shot clock to run out, and had 5 players with 2 blocks a piece. Although i agree.....it would've been closer w/ Horford on the floor.

I doubt there's a team in NBA history that can limit even the worst team to nothing for that long.

I think its pretty embarrassing that you hold a team to no points for 13 1/2 minutes and it still ends up being a 16 point ball game.

last night they came out and played with no emotions and the hawks you can say all year have not had all there starters 100% started out with smith and his ankle sprain and the bug has spread out to others on the team. hopefully playsoffs they will all b 100% and make a good run.

It was a combination of both, while the Heat played good defense, Atlanta had plenty of open shots that kept going in and out.

i dont see how thats possible when u have mike bibby and josh smith. I can understand joe johnson cuz that guy will miss 20 shots a game, he just takes 40 so his % and pts look good. They gotta get more looks for mike bibby cuz imo he's the best shooter on the hawks

No reason for that with that kind of talent. Bibby is still the most over-rated PG in the game.

Well, in my book he's rated pretty low............so it would be pretty difficult for him to be overrated. He's been irrelevant for about 4-5 years now.

I agree hes rated pretty low. So the point that he is overrated is even more astounding. Yet, I do remember people saying that he was better than Rondo.
