9. Rodney Stuckey, Pistons
Stuckey is the point guard by default in Detroit. He's in the Dwyane Wade mold, but Michael Curry has trusted him with handling the ball in order to move Allen Iverson to the two

This are the same people that diss fans for their All Star votes. I mean, common.....give us a break, even a fan will never compare Stuckey and Wade. Some analyst are just plain ignorant and stupid, I wonder if this dufus is getting paid handsomely to do this crap he calls a job.

To be fair, "Of the Dwayne Wade mold" could mean that they have similar playing styles, not the same talent level. So is Fred Jones (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=1718). So is Stephen Graham (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?playerId=2832). Doesn't mean they're good, just means they're athletic combo guards who use strength and speed to get to the rim, and have a passable outside shot.

OK. I guess this won't offend Laker fans. Caron Butler is in the Kobe Bryant mold.

He doesn't have as good a post-up game and Kobe has greater range. Kobe is much more athletic and is more clutch as well.

Fail.

The only thing Stuckey has in common w/ Wade is he's a built guard who finishes at the rim. His explosiveness doesn't even compare to Wade's, he's not nearly as quick and his shot isn't as consistent. I watch damn near every Piston game and I Stuckey rarely even dunks. Stuckey can only be compared to year 1 Wade...anything past that is a true stretch.

all that means is that he plays similar to wade. not that he is as good as him.

laker fans, specifically kobe riders are gonna hate me, but Nick Young is in the "Kobe Mold"
they are pretty similar. now will Young be as good as Kobe? who knows, but he is a lot like young Kobe

i understand what hes saying but its easily disputable and of course is gonna cause controversy its as if someone said wades game is in the Jordan mold. Tell me there wouldnt be a 50k page thread of b****ing in it. They just need to realize how people interpret what there saying and try to say it in a better way.

I agree with IndyRealist. They have similar playing styles and body types. I think Stuckey this year is playing sort of like D-Wade did his rookie year. I just think Stuckey has huge potential.
