Josh Smith's points, rebounds, assists, and blocks are all down this season, I don't think he's underrated at all.

Gerald Wallace. The Bobcats are practically giving him away to get out from under his contract, I have no idea why someone hasn't picked him up yet.

But the most underrated player in the NBA is....Morris Almond. Kid's gonna get run out of the league because Jerry Sloan doesn't need him and the Jazz won't trade him. He could be a consistent JR Smith. I think he dropped 50 twice last year in the D-league.

Maybe if was healthy and playing out of his mind like he was last season, this year, he seems a tad bit overrated honestly.

He's also been a bust on fantasy team, avg only a little over 1 block a game since his return from a high ankle sprain.

My vote goes to Granger at the moment.

Joe Johnson, Danny Granger, Vince Carter(like Eric Snow said " I can't believe this guy still has to prove himself") and Brandon Roy(Top 10 player imo).

I didn't know Almond dropped 50 twice in the D-League. Pretty impressive.

Danny granger , Al jeffersson, rudy gay and those type of players shouldnt be dubbed as underated since they play in ****** teams most third or fourth options in good teams like Nelson, odom, ray allen, artest, ginobili etc would make their type of numbers if they where on the pacers, grizz or wolves.

Nene is underrated IMO. I don't hear much talk about him, but he's been impressive this season.

Pau Gasol (tied in Win Shares for his team), Danny Granger (guy is balling) , Brandon Roy (a superstar in the making)

Odom's best statisical year was with Miami, where he averaged 17.1 and 9.7, but shot 43% from the floor and 30% from 3. He was being force fed.

Nelson's having one good year, he was nonexistant two years ago.

Don't get me started on Artest.

The only person I'd every remotely agree with on that list is Ray Allen, because he DID put up numbers on bad Seattle teams. And now that he's on the Celtics? His numbers are good, but not mind blowing.

I think Danny Granger and Al Jefferson are the real deal. I think you'd have to watch them play to really get it. Rudy Gay's recessed as has Loul Deng. KMart's been injured, but he doesn't look like he's missed a beat.

And if the Wolves don't want Al Jeff, the Pacers'll take him.

I think we fail to realize how good Brooke Lopez will be. He may be on his way to being an all-star. A steal at 10th pick. Look at his numbers over the last 5:

31/13
13/8
17/6
28/10
8/3

With a .485 field goal percentage over his rookie year so far.

Also, I'd say Trevor Ariza would be averaging pretty damn good numbers if he weren't on a very deep team. He's never played more than 24 MPG in his career. He gets 9/5 with a .471 FG %. That's 18/10 over 48 minutes as a very low option on the Lakers.
