Below is a link to the new jerseys for this years allstar game, what do people think of them?

The influence of this year's host city in the design is undeniable. The horizontal lines resemble Arizona's rock formations, while the progression of color (desert red for the West, sunset blue for the East) is emblematic of the legendary bird rising from the flames.

i kinda miss the days when each player would just wear the individual jersey from their team. i don't know why but i liked it a lot.

Am I the only one that misses the players playing in their OWN team uniforms... and one team is home, and the other is away? That was always awesome... they are just making all-star jerseys for merchandising reasons.

For the first time ever, the new NBA All-Star uniforms were unveiled exclusively in Men's Fitness. (Well, sort of. Brent Pollakoff of NBA FanHouse caught them online weeks ago.) Regardless, via NBA Noise, here's a bigger and better look at the new ASG digs Kobe, LeBron and Jameer Nelson will be sporting this February:

Aw, I'm actually kind of disappointed. When I saw it said they're going to be "futuristic", I was expecting metallic body suits... (http://www.zoomentertainment.com.au/images/entertainers/cybergirl-cyberboy-colour.jpg)

bump

No need to bump dropped threads. If you notice a duplicate thread has been posted you can pm any of the NBA mods to let us know.

Conversely, everybody should be careful to try and not re-post news that's already up.

Thanks.

Whats bump mean?

Bumping a thread means to post again in an old thread that has dropped of the front page in order to bump it up to the top.

And as a general rule we ask that nobody bump old threads as it disrupts the flow of the forum. (In this case 1/19 isn't that old so it's not a big deal). Sometimes people go searching through and find months old threads and bump them for whatever reason (usually to rekindle an argument). Please don't do this.

I quite like 'em. How does the red and blue represent the Phoenix sky and stuff? Aren't they red and blue every year? :eyebrow:

I do like them though.

And if you buy that then I'd like to talk with you about a trade for Stephen Hunter...

Oh I see. so if the thread is no longer current with whats happeing in the nba. you dont want people posting in it to bring it back the top of the thread.
