We are talking about two players that are widely considered top 12 all time. They were on one of the greatest teams ever in 1983 and won the title that year as well. However during their time together they only managed to get 1 title.

Did they underachieve as a duo?

No, they weren't better than Bird's Celtics or Magic's lakers.... The Sixers weren't good enough to beat those teams every year.

Moses was amazing, but I don't think he would crack many peoples top 12 All-Time lists. One ring in an era where the Lakers/Celtics dominated isn't bad at all. They were only together for 4 seasons and those were 4 of Dr. J's last 5 seasons in the league.

What I found interesting is that they had the HCA in 1984 and lost every game at home in the 1st round. They lost games 1 and 2 at home and game 5.

Yes because they lost with home court advantage.

I believe Moses is clearly one of the top 12 all time. Not many guys have 3 season mvp's and 1 finals mvp or vice versa.
