A lot of ppl say the Lakers got killed in the playoffs and I agree to some extend but what if the tables were turned. What if Ariza & Bynum we're healthy and Perkins and Posey we're injured? Would the result be the same? Personally I think they would have gotten killed I mean Garnett playing center like Gasol and their hustle/defensive player out...

If Bynum was healthy, the Lakers may never have acquired Gasol.

But, you deal with injuries. They're part of the game.

Why would you worry about this type of question when both teams are still good? This is the type of question you ask when both teams have fallen off the map.

Also the Lakers were considered the favorite by most of the nation already.

If he would have come back healthy after injury...

Stupid questions....We won because we were a great TEAM! Removing any piece would have been terrible.

I'm gonna go with the "I don't know or care" option. Pointless to argue this type of thing.

Injuries happen all the time. Part of the game.

Though why does Posey = Ariza? Why does Bynum = Perkins? Makes no sense.

What would have happened if Ginobili was healthy and Gasol was injured?

Or what would have happened if Odom was injured against the Jazz?

If I were them, I would take an asterisk next to my title. Just like the Pistons should have done back in 1989 when the Lakers lost 3 starters, Magic included, right before the finals started.

That only matters when one team loses star players in game 1, not when they lose them when the team was already down in the series.

I'll do a few from the Suns perspective.

What if Amare was healthy in 2005? Would we have defeated Dallas?

What if Barkley was healthy against the Rockets....forget the year. A while ago. Could we have won? What if we had a healthy Barkley...and the Rockets had a gimpy Hakeem?

It's stupid.
