He's putting up ridiculous numbers. 27 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists, 3 steals on a night-night basis as of late.

1. Can this guy finish in the top 5 in MVP? (Behind the usual suspects, aka "the best of the rest")

2. He struggled while brand was in the lineup. When Brand returns, will his numbers decline?

The last 4 games before Brand got hurt Iggy was averaging 20 6 and 6. It wasn't Brand as much as it was Iggy just ALWAYS has slow starts.

And no, he had too bad of a november to be considered in All star or MVP voting. But good to see he is back to his form.

He's only an MVP candidate if the Sixers continue to win. That won't happen when the Human Black Hole comes back.

When Brand comes back, you can say goodbye to Iggy's high scoring average, the Sixers' offensive rhythm and any chances they have of making the playoffs. If I'm the Director of Personnel for Philly, I just flat-out tell Brand, "don't bother coming back this season."

I hope Iggy continues to play well. I like the dude and always thought he could be a franchise type guy. However I do think when brand returns, it could slow iggy up a bit. But who knows.

Maybe the 76ers should trade Brand for some compatable parts. Doesn't appear to be a good fit. Iggy and Brand not a good combo.

Iggy is a beast...no doubts about it. Get Philly some DOMINANT inside presence and there going to be a force in the East.

Elton will adjust because of the coaching change. Cheeks tried to run the offense through him, and have everyone else stand around and be prepared to shoot. Bad idea, DiLeo will run the same offense with Brand as the catalyst of the fastbreak with his great defensive rebounding, and his good mid range jumper will come into play because he will be the trailer on the break.

Now if DiLeo doesn't follow through with his word and tries what Cheeks did, we're in for a long season. If he holds true we could easily rise up from #8 in the East to much higher.

In the last 25 games, he's had 27 points 5 times, 9 assists 1 times, and 3 steals 6 times.

How is that putting up 27/6/9/3 on a nightly basis?

His last three games he's averaged 23ppg, 4rpg, 7.3apg, and 1.7spg. That's not 27/6/9/3. Not even close.

Top 5
1: Lebron James
1: Kobe Bryant
3: Chris Paul
4: Dwayne Wade
5: Paul Pierce
Next 12 (in no order): Kevin Garnett, Joe Johnson, Deron Williams, Dwight Howard, Devin Harris, Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, Chauncey Billups, Amare Stoudamire, Brandon Roy, Yao Ming, Dirk Nowitzki.

All are better players, all as important or more important to their teams, all putting up as good or better stats, all on better teams. IF Philly ends 4th seed or higher, I might think he's top 10. There's no way he's top 5.

Key word "Putting these numbers up of LATE"

He won't continue that pace, and the 76ers have failed to meet expectations. Iggy is a great player but he's not going to be in the running.

Absolutely not. He's playing good but, he'll never be great and he'll never be an MVP or even finish in the top 10 for that matter.

He's playing well, but there's Lebron, Kobe, Chris Paul, and Dwayne Wade all putting up MVP seasons this year.
