The Devils are now onto the third game of their six game roadtrip taking a stop now in Vancouver to play the Canucks. The New Jersey offense has rekindled its power and looks to stay in shape. I will continue to say one thing the Devils need to score goals early in the first period if they want to win the game.

New Jersey now has a record of (24-15-3) and are playing a team that has struggled under the loss of star goaltender Roberto Luongo although they are still strong in the west in fifth place with a record of (22-17-5) but are (3-5-2) in their last ten and will try to avoid their fifth straight home loss. Luongo is expected to be back in net in the next few games after missing a total of 23 games so far with groin injury. Finally the Canucks are (9-11-3) since losing Luongo.

The Devils on the other hand are points greater than the canucks with 51 points but still 6th place in the east. They have lost the last three games in Vancouver and look to erase that streak. If the Devils are going to win look to Patrik Elias rekindling his often hot stick and score a multi-point game with 1 goal and multiple assists. Look also for Zubrus to be a strong physical presence especially in the first period to spark the offense.
