Last night showed the excellent bounceback ability of the New Jersey Devils. The Devils finally found their offense with 5 goals after scoring no goals against a team who has been allowing the most in the league, the thrashers.

Zach Parise was finally able to eclise the 100 goal mark although he was unable to beat out Gionta for fastest Devil to do so just missing out on the feat.

Kevin Weekes regained his respect of the New Jersey Devils fans after sitting out a number of games and filling in at the end of the last game at the prudential center against thrashers. Weekes made 34 saves which may seem meaningless with the final score 5-1 but many were important when the devils were up 3-0 at the begginning of the third period and it seemed they would slip after giving up a goal which put the kings back in the game only back 2 goals.

The Hero- Travis Zajac. Travis came out strong scoring the first goal for the New Jersey Devils firing up the offense. He came out with three points last night(1g 2a) and fired up the very hot z-z-pop line.

The Zer0-Jonathon Quick. The kings young goalie couldn't keep new jersey out of the net. He was bombarded all game and couldn't keep the devils at bay.

Brendan Shannahan is back with the Devils after a long abscense and an unfortunate stay with the Rangers. Back with the Devils in a full team of depth, where will he fit in? There are almost not fowards that the devils can say they should take out. It looks as if a trade might be in the works to move somebody out as the devils might be looking for a puck moving defenseman.

The devils do have depth everywhere even though they played weak of late. Shannahan has been said to be mostly a power-play specialist but once again where will he fit in? you decide!
