All right guys who thinks will end up number one ill do top 4 teams because the next teams are San Antonio and Denver who are 5 games back. So who will end up number 1 and why?

Los Angeles Lakers-27-5
Boston Celtics-29-7
Cleveland Cavaliers-27-6
Orlando Magic-27-8

More than likely the Lakers at this point. Boston I don't think needs the best record to win it all.

agreed, we cant really make the arguement anymore that Boston has the easier road to the championship though. East is definately catching up top 6 teams are pretty dang good. its really hard to even say Lakers and Celtics will be in the championship this year. But they both have the best shots.

i think cleveland will.
orlando is good but just not as good as the other 3
lakers r in a tougher conference so i think the wins will be harder for them to get.
celtics...well its simply hard to pick them right now..who knows all long this will last for.
so that leaves cleveland...easier conference..best player in the nba...unbeatable at home...just seems theyll be the top team by the end..i say 67 wins for the cavs.

Do you think that Big Z will hurt their chances being out?

based on what's going on right now, it would be hard to bet against the Lakers. A lot can change though, but right now, the Lakers get my vote.

The only thing though is I have to see them more on the road. They will have played 22 of their first 36 at home.

true, though of the 4 teams listed, they've also played the toughest schedule as far as the opponents winning %.

Bostons played 12 teams over .500 and Lakers have played 15 games with teams over .500.
