How is derrick rose behind luke ridnour? and yi's votes are a reason why fans shouldn't vote. he doesn't deserve to be in the all star game. he's even beating bosh and pierce.

i think roy should get more votes. he should be higher with his team winning

As I said before, Yi.. :pity:

Stoudemire and Melo are so close to each other. That'll be a tight race.

That was basically all the problems I had with it too. And Arenas has yet to play a game if I'm not mistaken but is 6th among Eastern Conference guards!

I kind of hope Yi beats out KG just so the NBA realizes the problem with the voting.

Dude, I realize some people who shouldn't get in like Yi or T-Mac get in because there are loyal fans (or you have a whole country voting for you, China haha). I get those cases..

but SAMUEL DALEMBERT? HOW? Is all of Haiti/Canada voting for him? I doubt it. How the **** is this guy getting in honestly.

so right now it would be:

East
PG: Iverson, Harris
SG: Wade, Carter
SF: LeBron, Yi
PF: KG, Bosh
C: Howard, Dalembert

West
PG: Kobe, Paul
SG: McGrady, Manu
SF: Amare, Melo
PF: Duncan, Dirk
C: Yao, Shaq

assuming the starters are the leading vote getters.

The first line-ups would be a good show. But I think the West would pull away when both second line-ups are in.

It doesn't work like that though; the coaches pick the subs. If Yi doesn't pass up KG, he won't make the team at all.

Yi wouldn't be there. The coaches choose the bench, and I highly doubt any of them will vote for Yi. Same probably goes with Dalembert.

I'm assuming your suprised that he's not on the list, not that he's not a starter. He clearly shouldn't be an all-star this year. But he will get his chances in the future.

T-Mac being a starter would be a joke....hardly any Rockets fans like him at this point....he's missed far too many games and played poorly in too many others...this has been his worst season so far and it's not close...his team actually does better without him at this point...Paul will get in either way but T-Mac getting in means one less spot for a deserving guard....

Joe Johnson should be starting....

Dirk should be starting instead of Amar'e....

The rest of the list is fine as long as nothing changes....

Allstar voting is a joke. They should just make it that those players are in the allstar game but that the coaches select who starts.

ya Yi shouldn't be in there, just because he has all of China voting for him and Yao. HOW IS YI BEATING BOSH YOU ASK? it's because BOSH plays for the TORONTO. Ridnour and Rose infront of Calderon?...Okur ??? T-Mac has played in like 15 games and hes second for guards with CHRIS PAUL 3rd???..Devin Harris should be higher as well and why is ROY so low?

Allstar voting is a joke. They should just make it that those players are in the allstar game but that the coaches select who starts.

if that was the case, obviously the coach would favour certain players..i can picture Mike Brown (Cavs coach) not wanting to start KG and bench him along with Pierce for beating them last year:p

Holy Houston Rockets!
Alston? Scola? Tmac?

WHERE IS JOE JOHNSON?

Fans have just lost their right to vote. China should be bombed, just for the sake of getting rid of these Chinese voters, its screwing things up.

Here's mine: Sounds right IMO.

Western Conference:
PG-Chris Paul, Jason Kidd
SG-Kobe Bryant, Brandon Roy
SF-Carmelo Anthony, Tmac
PF-Tim Duncan, Amare Stoudemire
C-Yao, Pau Gasol

Easter Conference:
PG-Devin Harris, Jameer Nelson
SG-Dwade, Joe Johnson
SF- Lebron, Paul pierce
PF-KG, Chris Bosh
C-Dwight Howard, Al Horford

Chris Paul needs to be a Knick. He isnt getting any respect around the league. This guy is in the league of Kobe and Lebron and doesnt get respect like it. New Orleans jsut isnt the place to hold a superstar of Chris Paul's ability. Also he would dominate the Eastern guards. Def. get voted in to start! Also he is my favorite player and Knicks are my favorite team a match made in heaven.

No. It's not him not getting respect from the league. Like you said earlier, it's McGrady getting the votes from China. I can't see CP3 as a Knick. I see him staying a Hornet, because he's from North Carolina (I believe) so going back to his home area is the Bobcats...probably not gonna happen. So I don't really see him leaving New Orleans.

I am a rockets fan and it is a disgrace that Tmac is even being considered. Career low in all stats and barely playing. When he does play he limps accross the court and plays the most uninspired ball of a $20 million player. If he is honest about his injuries, he should pass on the all star game and sit out. He does not deserve a spot this year and it is for his own good.

I will even say Shaq's recent ressurgence, makes him my starter in the west. Either Yao is tired or not fully healed , either way he should be the backup to Shaq.

These are my starters...

West
Kobe
Cp3
Shaq
Duncan
Manu

East
Lebron
Dwade
Z
KG

I know Chris Paul wouldnt leave Hornets. I say he is a Hornet for life probi. Cause Chris Paul has the ability to create all-stars. He will never complain like Kobe. Basically Lakers had to trade for their Gasol. Chris Paul MADE a David West.

Kobe wanted to sit out the last all-star game because of his injury, but the league wouldn't allow him to, I think he was going to be suspended or something. They said that if he can play in the regular season games, he has to play in the all-star game.

As we know, the all-star game is just as important as trying to win homecourt advantage for the play-offs...

It's a shame T-Mac is going to be a starter. He's taking up a spot that someone more deserving should get. Stupid fans need to stop just voting for names they've heard of, and actually do a little research and vote for guys that deserve to be there. I swear its like someone of these voters have not watched a single game this year.
