I agree with him. James White should've been chosen. That would've been something for sure. This year will probably be boring IMO. I just don't see any excitement in it this year, right now.

I honestly thought last years dunk competition was Overrated. I love Dwight Howard but the dunks last year were overhyped and weren't that great. IMO the last best dunk competition was the Vince Carter one; him and steve francis murdered it.

Agreed 100%. I think the players should vote for the dunk contest that may work.

It's been bad like 8 out of the 10 times the last 10 years. Making it 80 percent of a chance it is going to suck. Given that last year was one of the better one means that more than likely, 90 percent sure, it will be bad.

always is. Unless VC, LeBron, Wade, Moon, etc get in it like the old days, its lame. Who cares about guys who never play and can just be athletic freaks.

The dunk contest has sucked every year since Vince Carter went between his legs. Now everybody tries to makes up ridiculous dunks that don't even show off their athleticism. Unless the best athletes in the league are going to suit up for it they should just get rid of it completely.

Well the reason it isnt that great anymore is because most of the dunks players are doing....they have been done or seen before. They need to be real creative.

Stern should just let the fans vote for ALL 4 dunkers, not just 1.

you need to have stars do it. if it was kobe, lebron, wade, and howard, even if the dunks where not as good, it would have more implications and just be more entertaining.

It will only be exciting if they allow Dwight to dunk on the 12 foot rim like he wanted to do last year.

yeah when you pit stars against stars, more intensity and higher caliber dunks most of the time
