The guy is still way below his prime...so scary. If he ever gets reliable a jumpshot it's over for the rest of the league.

Amazing. So young, yet if feels like he's been in the league forever. Not that this has anything to do with Lebron or anything, but Wade's going to be 27 next month (January 17th). I found that kind of surprising. His career's flown by too.

Yes, and it's ridiculous -- this coming from a Cavaliers/LeBron fan too.

Maybe if it were Jordan or another retired superstar. With LeBron, there's only five years worth of material unless they go back to HS days.

And hell, even if it were Jordan, it would be ridiculous.

Well Lebron has the potential to be as good as Jordan. Jordan didn't get his first ring until he was 28 years old, I believe (could be wrong though).

Pat Riley needs to get him some help soon

It is also DJ Mbenga's birthday. Should I make a whole thread dedicated for a basketball players birthday?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say DJ Mbenga is the best Belgian-Congolese (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Didier_Ilunga_Mbenga) basketball player ever.

Sounds deserving of his own thread to me.

BTW, did you just know DJ's birthday off the top of your head? That would be like a whole new level of fan-dom, knowing your #13-15 players' birthdays.

The point is that five years' worth of NBA footage (and only three of playoffs) doesn't seem like enough to fill 24 hours.

I mean, other than the 45-pointers against Detroit (2007) and Boston (2008), another one or two playoff games, and a few sick regular season games, what is there to show? It's just going to end up being like 15 hours of high picks courtesy of Mike Brown.

I sat through it for five years before this season -- it doesn't make for great television.

Happy B Day to Lebron. I cant believe Wade is going to be 27 already. I thought he was going to be 26 in a month. He is an old man!
