That might mean Hamilton or Allen Iverson could become the sixth man.

"We looked at our lineup at different times, and we thought about different possible guys coming off the bench, but we hadn't made a decision on that," Curry said Monday night after the Pistons' fourth straight victory -- 88-82 over the Orlando Magic. "That's kind of a tough decision."

Hamilton missed his second straight game Monday, and Curry started power forward Amir Johnson in his place.

The move allows the Pistons to play a more traditional lineup of Rasheed Wallace at center, Johnson at the four spot, Tayshaun Prince at his natural small forward position, Rodney Stuckey at the point and Iverson at shooting guard

I say bring Rip off the bench for Firepower.

Wow, that's awful. If anything bring AI to the bench, not the guy you just signed to a 3 year extention..

Yeah I don't get that, but maybe they are tougher to defend with AI in the lineup over Rip.

I say let AI come of the bench.
Their backcourt is too small to begin games, they'll get run off the court.
It's better to have AI come off the bench and havbe full licence to shoot the ball.

I think AI should come off the bench. Rip is a great off the ball scorer and will wear down his man more because he constantly comes off screens. That'll make it easier for AI to step in as the opposition is worn down some.

I see Hamilton taking that role better than AI would.

Hamilton should be the 6th man for the rest of the season because AI will be gone when the season ends and Hamilton would resume his spot as starting SG next season

Prince at PF is a terrible long term solution.

AI would be better suited at being the sixth man.

AI
Afflalo
Hermann
Amir/McDyess
Maxiell/Kwame

AI would be the only one of that group that could create his own shot. Something Rip isn't the best at, which would force the Pistons to put Bynum into the AI role.

Trade us Chris Bosh. :D

As for who I believe should be coming off the bench for the Pistons, I think it should defiantly be AI. He's more of an explosive scorer, and he would be able to provide some nice energy for us coming off the bench. Rip on the other hand is a much better defender, and the offense usually flows much better when he's on the court over AI. (Mainly because he doesn't take any bad shots.)

AI off the bench with a blazing green light for instant offense.

Rip will be in Detroit next year. makes a lot of sense to give him as many starts as possible alongside his new backcourt mate, doesn't it?

Let AI come off the bench and go nuts playing how he likes to play.

I say trade Hamilton & Kwame for a good center
