MVP:
1. LeBron James (doing it all for his team)
2. Dwight Howard (his maturation has put Orlando in the elite)
3. Chris Paul (the heart and soul of a team that lacks depth)
4. Kobe Bryant (his leadership has taken on a new level)
5. Deron Williams (has kept an injury riddled Utah team from sliding)

ROY:
1. Derrick Rose (mature beyond his years)
2. OJ Mayo (already an elite scorer)
3. Russell Westbrook (erratic but always aggressive going to the hoop)
4. Rudy Fernandez (one of the most creative players in the league already)
5. Brook Lopez (he has shown flashes of becoming an elite big...very fundamentally sound)

MIP:
1. Devin Harris (has made trade for Hall of Famer Kidd look silly)
2. Paul Millsap (made Boozer expendable)
3. Jameer Nelson (established himself as a clutch performer)
4. Chris Duhon (thriving under D'Antoni's firedrill offense)
5. Nene (having his best season after his cancer makes him in inexpendable in the conversation)

DPOY:
1. Chauncey Billups (for giving Denver, once known as a defensive liable team, a defensive attitude)
2. Kevin Garnett (anchor for the L's best defense)
3. Tim Duncan (he is always the reason why the Spurs have been a defensive powerhouse)
4. Kobe Bryant (stepped up his D now his team has more offensive depth)
5. Dwight Howard (leading the league in blocks counts for something)

COY:
1. Nate McMillan (really making Portland an outside contender after not even making the postseason a year ago)
2. Jerry Sloan (guiding an injury riddled roster)
3. Erik Spoelstra (for keeping a flawed roster above 0.500)
4. Mike Brown (great adjustment starting West at the 2 and playing LeBron more at the four)
5. Gregg Popovich (his confidence in rookie Hill, and former benchwarmers Mason and Bonner has paid off as the Spurs are still going strong despite Parker and Manu missing significant time)

6th Man of Year:
1. Andrei Kirilenko (wether it's on offense or defense, he always brings a spark)
2. Jason Terry (one of his most efficient scoring seasons)
3. Rudy Fernandez (like Manu, excels at changing the pace of the game with his killer instinct and natural flair)
4. J.R. Smith (not many players can score as well in bunches)
5. Leon Powe (limited in talent, but hard work makes him the most important bench player on a thin Boston team)

Now the reason i picked Papovich for COY is because look at the injuries they had. they had Manu out for a month, Parker out for 3-4 weeks and they started off terribly. Now look at them. They are right back at the top. In my mind he deserves it more then anyone although its close with him and Mike Brown

Wow all of you dropped the ball in the COY section, Ive pretty much agreed with most of the selections but how can anyone not notice the job Scott Skiles has done in Milwaukee, far more impressive than what Mike Brown has done.

I mean seriously what did the guy do other than let SOMEONE ELSE decide what offense to run, then again that didnt stop Doc from being in the running last year.

It's also a crime not to at least consider Millsap for MIP...the guy has been playing at an all-star level before he got injured.

If Bron isnt more than average defensively then Bowen hasnt been for awhile. The guy is elite, hes on one of the best defensive teams that actually relies on him heavily to defend. Similar to the Hawks without Josh Smith, but in this case the team is decent without Bron but terrific with him. His move to the 4 has helped the team in more ways than 1, originally I thought the team would slip defensively but Brons roaming abilities are far more advanced than I thought, also he completely changes the way other teams attack, when they try to match up with the Cavs small ball lineup. Keep in mind when Bron is playing the 4 hes usually on the court with Wally yet he has the highest Defensive differential on the team. Hes always been a decent free safety but hes reached another level.

His on-ball D is much improved, either he or the coaching staff over does it when they try to put him on quicker guys like Wade but at his natural position hes been great. Watch his game against G-Force and his rematch vs Granger. Hes not consistent with his man D but thats because he knows how much more important it is for the team, for him to be the designated helper.
