Now I know this should be on Bulls Thread but when ever you pass a legend, it should be recognized.

Congrats to Ben Gordon but what's really surprising is how fast Ben Gordon passed the mark.

Whats your though on Ben Gordon passing Scottie Pippen for the Bull's All time leader in 3pts made.

Congrats to him
But it isn't such a big deal because Scottie Pippen wasn't a 3pt shooter
so.... lol

But I know he will try to use this to get a nice fat contract

As a rookie he chucked at a level few rooks ever matched, hes a scorer with range plain and simple, congrats to him

Pippen wasn't a 3 point shooter. Gordon lives for the 3 point shot.

Props to Ben Gordon, he's a New York baller from MT Vernon where I went to school, but who cares about the Bulls three point record.

Props to BG.

Huh, I'm surprised Pippen held the record before, would have thought it woulda been paxson, kerr, armstrong or kukoc. Pippen could hit the three, but he wasn't a 3pt shooter. weird.

Too bad Gordon turned down $50,000,000 and will be playing in Europe next year for $2 million in front of crowds of 7,000.

Congrats but Pippen is not really a 3 point shooter. BG is.

Why's everyone saying no big deal because Pip wasn't a 3-point shooter? Pippen has scored the most 3's for the Bulls - obviously meaning he CAN SHOOT. He was ahead of Jordan (GOAT), Kerr (Best 3FG% ever I think)... And everyone's saying "no big deal"? Great feat by Gordon, no matter the circumstances.

And I think Hinrich ranks 3rd behind Pippen. It's a reflection of the kind of team the Bull's have had during Paxson's tenure. It is a pretty great feat; relying on jump shots to win games isn't easy. Most 'fans' on this forum don't have a long term perspective on the team. To them, unless the Bull's are competing for championships there's something wrong and someone has to be held accountable. So people here tend to emphasize BG's faults and de-emphasize his strengths.. Or they flat out don't know what they're talking about by suggesting that he 'doesn't move without the ball' for example.

Agree, ive been waiting for someone to post something like this...... even if pippen "isnt" a good 3 point shooter, ben gordon still passed him and passed EVERY PLAYER THAT HAVE PLAYED FOR THE BULLS
