5+7=DYNASTY!!!

A-rod and Crawford

Mildly agree with A-Rod, although his fielding is not impressive. LOL @ Prince.

When I look at athlete, I think ALL-AROUND talent. Crawford fits that bill, although, I'd like to see him hit for more power.

Here are a few of my opinions.

-Grady Sizemore
-Hanley Ramirez
-Carlos Beltran
-Curtis Granderson
-Both Uptons
-Matt Kemp and most of the young hitting prospects these days

Most guys that play up the middle, have good defense and power are terrific athletes

I think that today, Carl Crawford defenitely leads the list. Although guys like Hanley Ramirez, Curtis Granderson, Grady Sizemore, etc. come to mind as well. In recent history as much as I dislike him, I have to give a shout to Bond in the late 80s and 90s. All time, how can you not say Ozzie Smith?

Your Name Here

Farnsworth.

Throws 95+ MPH, could drop a 250lb RB or WR like it's nothing, and coulda probably be a professional boxer. And he drinks like a champ, and that takes years and years of training.

i think they should have a skills competition at the All-Star game...like in the NBA and NHL

they could have:

- fastest fastball
- 50 m and 100 m dash (crawford vs taveras vs reyes vs hanley...)
- longest outfield throw (rios vs vlad vs francouer)
etc...

That woud be dope, but...

- fastest fastball (just askin for elbow strain DL stint)
- 50 m and 100 m dash (Hammy strain DL stint)
- longest outfield throw (Oblique strain DL stint)

All of those things plus the derby, plus the game, which counts now...owners would never go for it.

But it would be cool.

I think Carlos Gomez would give Crawford a race.

sadly i have been mick rolled.... I will say a-rod has to be athletic, but i agree with most of the players people said.

I agree with Crawford and Upton, and somewhat agree on A-rod.

Another player who was (still is, but not so much and in a different way) Jason Giambi. He's not exactly athletic, like being a good runner, etc. But in high school he was a three-sport wonder, getting MVP in baseball and basketball, and was voted all-league as a quarterback. So yeah, he was really strong and multi-talented.

All of those names mentioned were obvious candidates... but what Carlos Gomez? Watching him play for the mets and even last season... The guy has a solid build.. but can absolutly fly, jump, and throw... Hes a potential future 5 tool player....

Endy Chavez a pretty sensational athleate as well.. Arod, Reyes, Hanley, Sizemore, garry matthews jr, crawford, gathwright are terric as well.

Carl Crawford.

Lettered in football, basketball, baseball, and swimming. Offered scholarship to play basketball at UCLA. Signed a letter of intent to be a QB at Nebraska. Drafted out of high school, and decided to pursue a career in baseball.

Thats an athlete right there...
