Gerald Green is, and always will be a total tease. He has real basketball skills, and is super athletic. But, he may have the lowest basketball IQ I have ever seen for a pro. He doesn't get it. And he never will. Teams will take a chance on him for the next 3 years due to his athletic ability, and his shooting ability. But he is a terrible defender, doesn't give effort all of the time, and takes horrible shots. He will disappear out of the league in a few years.

He is the reason David Stern needed to impliment some sort of prerequisite prior to joining the nba. He has the goods. He has the skill set of tmac or a vince carter, but never got mentally ready. He will never reach his potential because of his cockiness and his unwillingness to fully understand the game.

From what i hear, he is a cancer who doesnt understand team ball..
In my opinion maybe the lakers, knicks or the spurs are the only teams whos style could possible change his game.

He is damaged good.. but for 1 mill a year he is certainly worth the risk
