There were no serious talks about a Shawn Marion for Anderson Varejao/Wally Szczerbiak trade. The Cavs don't want Marion, who will be a free agent at the end of the season. They'd rather keep their own soon-to-be free agents than just rent Marion for a year and possibly mess up their chemistry by losing Varejao.

Miami does want Varejao, who is expected to opt out of his contract after the season. Heading into Denver, Varejao has started two games for the injured Zydrunas Ilgauskas, averaging 14 points and 7.5 rebounds. For his career, he has 21 starts, good for 12 points and 10 rebounds per game. Varejao doesn't care if he starts, but he does want to be paid like a starter.

Good:

* expressing usefulness (of objects, "good for")
* expressing expertise (of persons, "good at")
* expressing morality or altruism (of persons)
Good I don't want him.

I think the Cavs should take a good look at Jamison...

1) Mo Williams
2) Delonte West
3) LeBron James
4) Antwan Jamison
5) Zydrunas Ilgauskas

Wally and Anderson Varejao For Jamison

Then maybe trade Ben Wallace for a solid Shooting Guard

Dude....We HAVE a solid shooting guard...his name is Delonte West...

AND...WE SHOULD NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TRADE ANDY...

It won't take Andy and Wally to get Jamison, maybe just Wally and a pick, or Wally and Darnell Jackson...

we need to resign andy, NOT trade him, I don't know why people keep saying that...

Listen, our lineup is fine the way it is. Instead of going out and getting forwards and guards, we seriously need to look in to getting a young center. Z has been incredible, but his foot and his age are something to consider. If we want to be contenders for multiple years to come, we need a solid center who will draw defenders in, than kick it out to our guards for shots. Once we can accomplish this, we will have the all around team and championship banners will line the Q for the next 10 years.
