I'm throwing stats out the window in this case. We are on a mission, and I say that we win this game. We won't stop the Cardinals' offense, but I think we end up outscoring them. I think the elements can play in our favor as well. I say the Pats win 28-24.

You got to wonder if the Cardinals have turned off the switch after clinching the division. Especially with the beat down they got yesterday at the hands of Minny. I think the Pats will take care of them.

I heard some espn commentators think that it is a posibility that the cardinals might rest Kurt Warner, this is all speculation but it is a possibility since it appears that lately they have been draggy their feet, and maybe it is b/c warner is getting a bit worn down and might need rest.

The Boston Herald reports that Patriots LT Matt Light has a slight shoulder separation.

The "hope" is that Light will be able to improve through treatment and play against Arizona. That is relatively good news because the injury looked quite serious Sunday. Matt Cassel owners should keep an eye on Light's status.

Bill Belichick said today that as of right now, there is nothing to determine whether or not Light will miss Sunday's game. I heard it on WEEI. That can only be good news...

Dude,

that sig cracked me up. Especially when W said "I'm not sure what that guy's beef is"... Cracked me up.

Pats will win 38-24. Cassel, Welker, and Moss rip them up. Defense has a tough second and third qtr but keeps them limited enough to pull it out.

Haha, thanks :)

Yeah, I think the Pats got this one, especially since Boldin is questionable, which pretty much means= he won't start. no need to start him, they have the playoffs clinched, and they still have two solid receivers. No need to risk him more

Patriots win easy because the cardinals are most likely not going to play hard in this one. now Boldin may sit because of a slight injury.

u know everyone keeps saying the Patriots dont control their destiny, well they forget that the 2 games the Patriots have are so much easier than their competitors.

Well, I'm not sure how much snow, if any, is in the forecast. I don't think it will be nearly as much as the "Snow Bowl" against Oakland or the games against Miami and Jacksonville. Those were legitimate blizzards, and I think we got all of that snow out of the way yesterday. I think that Cassel will manage to throw for about 230-240 yards, with the majority of his passes being screens and short passes with a great deal of the yards coming after the catch.

Patriots LT Matt Light (shoulder) returned to practice Friday.

Light was held out Wednesday and Thursday and figures to be a game-time decision against Arizona. The Patriots don't have a good backup behind Light and will need him to keep crafty Cardinals ROLB Bertrand Berry at bay.

I am in Burlington, and my folks are in Maine, and we are both supposed to get more snow tonight/ tomorrow, so I am told.

It hasn't stopped snowing here in Bellingham(just outside of Boston) since Friday, although it has gotten lighter.

I hope it snows in Foxboro as much as it's snowing here in Framingham. It's coming down at a healthy rate down here. :D

Patriots declared RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis, third QB Matt Gutierrez, S James Sanders, LB Gary Guyton, LB Tedy Bruschi, OG Dan Connolly, OT Wesley Britt, and G/C Billy Yates inactive for Week 16.

The Pats have three tailbacks active; Kevin Faulk, Sammy Morris, and LaMont Jordan. If the weather is as bad in Foxboro as it's supposed to be, those guys should get a lot of work. New England may not be able to use many three-receiver sets.

can you believe that they are going to the playoffs and we aren't?

It's unfair, I know. If you take out the fact that they have won all 5 of their divisional games so far, they're just 3-7. They'll lose in the first round for sure.

i figured todays game would be this way. Good win by the Patriots.

Jets lose! Jets lose! That means that we are tied for the AFC East lead with the Dolphins, and we must root for the Jets next week. It will be hard, because the Jets have proven themselves to be huge choke artists, but we have to hope for a Jets win. And, of course, for us to take care of Buffalo. But does anyone have any doubt that we smoke the Bills?

KmB728
12-21-2008, 08:34 PM
so if the Jets win and we win next week were the AFC East Champs!

why do the broadcasters keep saying we need the Ravens to loose? is that for the wild card?... please were fighting for the East!
